I came in a couple minutes ago. I wasnât greeted, wasnât given menus and frankly it looked like none of the servers wanted to help us. My husband, my daughter and I sat down at the booth. We waited a couple minutes still nothing. I got up to ask one of the employees there if a server could help us. He has his earphones in and didnât even say a word. He stared at me blankly and I asked if he would have someone help us or not. He looked around and didnât say a word. There was only one server that was white and she yelled for everyone to hear, â why does everyone always look at meâ insinuating sheâs the only one working and serving. Still no one came to help us. We got up and left. There were only 2 tables with people and 1 white guy who came right after us and sat. Well, the white girl was happy to hand him and menu and get his order. This was while we waited for someone to come serve us. If she doesnât want to serve people of color, thatâs fine. Then donât work at Waffle House near Mexican stores. Also the other servers that were black were just on their phone. No acknowledgment from their part either. Itâs sad that people like this still exist. I had my one year old daughter and it makes me sad that this could happen to her. Iâve been to this Waffle House before and the servers were amazing but this staff is aweful and racist. This was during the night shift and 9ish pm. They need to be fired and look for something else if they want to be lazy...
   Read moreI went here on the night of June, 18 and there was a black lady as the cashier and a heavy set black male that was the cook and also had a different shirt on I'm assuming he was the manager I ordered a all-star meal I was waiting 10 minutes then somewhere walked in after that and ordered 6 Texas melts instead of finished up my order that I placed 10ins ahead of time i asked the lady for a refund and she told the cook/manager I wanted a refund he asked why and I told him because he skipped my order as if I wasn't standing here for 10min which is bad customer service so as the lady proceeds to give me my refund she short change me I said you gave me less back then initially gave you then she went back in the register to give me the correct change and said it ain't that dam serious using file language towards a customer in front of the manager and she didn't apologize made it seem as I was wrong for telling her to give me my money back that I gave her I guess she here to take customers money at her on will she's definitely disrespectful and a theft and I am A GM in the fast food business and never been treated like this ever and would never tolerate something like this to go on with a customer I will not...
   Read moreFirst let me say I love Waffle House waffles. I actually crave them. Also, I always believed they served the perfect breakfast. But tonight was a horrible experience. We have been coming here for several weeks and it has been great. We arrived tonight around 6:30 pm and were the only customers. The waiter was obviously new and that was okay. The cook was standing there doing nothing and heard everything we said. We both ordered All Stars and asked could get our waffles first while they were hot before the rest of the order. The cook heard this, yet wouldnât put the waffles on until he started everything thing else. I watched him toss sixteen eggs (yes I did count them). I donât know if the eggs were bad or he didnât know how to crack them without breaking the yellows. Meanwhile our waffles were sitting there getting cold. We were the only customers there. By the time we got our food, the waffles were cold and the eggs were not right. Supposed to be over-medium, but yellows were broken and cooked all the way through. We were afraid of the problem with the eggs and just left the food untouched. Gave the waiter $5 tip and paid the meal. Not his fault. The cook had a problem and...
