Warning! Please consider NOT visiting this Golden Corral location, especially for any party room or anything! Current managers Wesley & Roland are useless and worthless here. Golden Corral, please get these 2 guys training in customer service! What a horrible and unprofessional experience as we've been using this Golden Corral restaurant for many years providing free advertised community educational seminars for seniors where we provide the meals, drinks & 20+% tip until Wesley & Roland, current managers, told me that we can't use their location anymore. These 2 guys are definitely incompetent with absolutely no sense of managerial customer service. Their attitudes are not representative of a friendly, inviting, family restaurant. Is reverse racism a thing? Constantly, all kinds of food on the floors. One of the ballisters from the florescent lighting was so extreme that it was unbearable being in the party room during our pre-scheduled and advertised event. Roland was visibly angry &/or annoyed that I asked if it could be fixed, especially before our next event, which was typically held 4 times a month for 4 months every year. Not once did Wesley or Roland ever say thank you and come again. These guys are only appearing annoyed that we're there spending hundreds of dollars offering our free seminars for this community. Imagine a restaurant manager appearing mad because he's asked to fix a light/noise issue within his restaurant. Even staff/servers complain to me over the years about their lack of leadership. As a patron, this is not how supposed leadership is reflected at this location. These 2 guys offer extreme incompetence in these areas. I have many examples as to why this 1 star is given & I'd gladly offer a zero if possible. Wesley & Roland need training in customer service and community relations to help build the business & not get angry because they're asked to provide normal service, especially for repeated groups/clients. I will continue with this approach and have notified corporate of the negative experiences with Roland & Wesley. I would not let Roland nor Wesley manage a hotdog stand as they were absolutely incompetent and portrayed anger and frustration towards my group multiple times. Never ever again Wesley and Roland as you guys are bad at your job in my opinion and many of your employees share my opinion as I have been utilizing this location for many years. Read moreWe have been at his location consistently since it opened/reopened. We have been regular guests weekly. The waiters and waitresses know us when we come in. The past 2 weeks we have been disappointed to a point where I had to say something to the owner, Jim, about the food and the presentation. He did not understand what the problem was. The issue is simple, a buffet restaurant has food placed out for their guest to choose from. This did not happen. Many of the meat selections were empty. The fried chicken had one piece left in the pan, the baked chicken only had a bed of rice, the ham was out, the sandwich selection that normally has 2, had none available. The pot roast was empty and when we asked if they had any, we were told not yet. We were there at 2:00pm not closing time. The salad bowl rack was there but there was no bowls to be found. Jim was very gracious and extended an invitation for us to come back and enjoy Golden Corral again. He comped our lunch and we do appreciate his efforts. However, this visit was worse than the last 2. Even with the lunch being free, we have decided that our money will be better spent somewhere else. I could not believe that it could get worse but it did. The wait staff on the floor is still super. Friendly, helpful and very courteous. The cooks behind the buffet line, SHOULD ALL BE FIRED!!!! Read moreFirst of all, the buffet was basically rice, beans, fry chicken and from that so many spots empty not beef ready at all, and some of the food was very dry and old, we were 2 adults and 2 kids, we ask for water 2 adults and one kid, the last kid ask for Dr Pepper, once we were trying to eat what it was a little ok with the poor menu of food, my daughter have a bad cough so she ask for my water and she give me her drink, i don’t like dr pepper so I ask the waiter to change it for coke or something else, the waiter said: because is a kid soda you can’t drink it or you have to pay for a extra soda, manager same words and he said this is a policy and no way you can drink your kid soda, i didn’t try to not pay for soda that obviously I was paying way more for all the food that wasn’t on the buffet for a dinner price but yet the manager believed I was trying to abuse when obviously the greedy people are them not me, to me this is because he (the manager) obviously does this as a everyday and he believes everyone are the same way like him but sorry we are not! and because of this I will not recommend this place to anyone, a soda?
