How this place has good reviews has got to be the 8th wonder of the world. Some friends wanted to go out and asked if I wanted to do Thai food. I said sure (not remembering when the last time I had Thai food) and we end up at this place. As soon as I saw the place I remembered it instantly from someone telling me the place smelled like a wet dog inside and the food was disgusting. I didn’t want to tell my company I wanted to eat elsewhere so I decided to order and see if I would enjoy it. Surprise surprise, the inside smelled like a wet dog. Somehow the restaurant was almost full, equally baffling. The atmosphere, the interior and exterior of the restaurant itself, and the staff just scream low quality establishment; so I knew there was a very high probability I was not going to like the food. Well I ordered what I thought would be the highest probability dish of me actually being able to successfully consume without regurgitating.. beer stir fry. As soon as they set it on the table I knew I wasn’t going to like it. Cut a piece of beef in half and ate it, barely being able to swallow it. This had to be the most disgusting food I have ever, and I mean ever.. tried in my entire life. Just look at this dish and tell me it doesn’t look like $5.95 take out Chinese food from Atlantic City that’s sat outside for 72 hours. The waitress came by a couple minutes later to ask how the food was and I said I wasn’t going to eat the meal and she said they won’t take it off the bill. I replied “I’m not paying for it.” And a few minutes later a different woman came out demanding answers specifically about what was wrong with the meal. I settled on perhaps the beef is expired because it tastes like the cow may have died in 1999. They arrived later with the check minus this dogfood dish and I went straight to pick up dinner from the Cheesecake Factory. It’s like going from prison straight to a...
Read moreSo admittedly this is a little venting and somewhat petty, but...I have eaten here at least 25 times over the last 3 years. Mostly I have ordered online and picked up from the restaurant, mostly because I have a family that does not like Thai food so I am often in my own. The food is generally excellent, but the service is not good. First, their online ordering app does not give enough options to modify your order. Specifically, I like to add pineapple to my order, which in many Thai restaurants is normal add-on option. They do not have it as an add-on option. They also add $2 to the order, but since it is not an option for the online order I have to put it in the notes and then have to pay the $2 in cash when I pick it up. Note that I use my card for the online order, so this is very inconvenient. They will call you to let you know, but I think that $2 is a little steep for adding pineapple (note that this equates to 10 to 15 very small pieces). Not to mention that my entire order is generally is around $40. This is where I have my issue. I am a fairly frequent customer with a decent sized order, I think that since they are saving time and effort by not having to wait on me in within the restaurant they should maybe just throw in the pineapple? Or at least update the online ordering app to make it an option on any of their curry dishes. (This would help with the alleviate the frustration even if there was an upcharge) But most importantly, please make an effort to acknowledge your frequent customers. I, myself, have been working in customer service for 25 years and would never treat my frequent/best customers like this. The last time I went, they charged me $2.14 for the add-on..... really? You had to add the $.14 for the tax on the...
Read moreDO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT! Eat from this restaurant. We ordered delivery from this company and we were in a semi tractor which is the only reason we decided to order from them. When our order arrived it was after hours by 15-20 mins. I immediately called and received no answer. I immediately contacted the online company Chow and informed them of what had occurred. They assured me that someone will reach back out. No one did. I contacted them again today where I started a chat to get assistance. They're currently assisting. I called the restaurant again today and the manager whom I have been waiting to call me after he arrived at 4:30pm its now 5:30 which I called back and he answered the phone. I began to explain what happened and that I still have the food currently not touched in the bag and was willing to send pictures. He immediately got irate and began over talking me and yelling and then hung up the phone on me. This is the most unprofessional customer service experience I have EVER came into contact with after you served an online delivery order that was DISGUSTING! The food came cold, it was scorched, it had no type of flavor, and it was rushed. I have never tasted Pud See Ew like that. IT WAS HORRIBLE. My order was over $40 with a side of spring rolls and I was unable to eat it. I had no dinner that night because it was too late to order anything else. STAY AWAY FROM ORDERING ONLINE FOR DELIVERY!!! I RECOMMEND NOT EATING HERE AT ALL! THE OWNER WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! The Health department may need to go and check things out. IJS I am waiting on my...
