8Teas Bubble is a small tea shop, which first opened its doors in 2020 with the ambitious goal to recreate the joy of "love at first sip". They offer a very wide variety of drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, herbal teas, fresh milk, and slushies - just to name a few (seriously check out their menu if you don't believe me). They have an array of macarons for those of you interested in picking up a sweet treat with your drink.
We happened upon 8Teas after we had finished a late dinner on Saturday night and wanted to round out the meal with some bubble tea. We were in luck as 8Teas was open until 10pm, so we decided to go and give them a try. 8Teas is a fairly small storefront; however, they do offer parking right in front of their shop, which makes it a breeze to get to. Upon entering the store you'll definitely notice it's a little on the cramped side as there's only a couple chairs on one side and two small tables (each can sit about 2-3 persons) on the other. This is definitely one of those grab-and-go tea shops, as opposed to the type in which after getting your drink you'd grab a seat and sit down to chat with whoever you've brought along with you. Ordering is primarily done via the self-serve kiosk on which you'll have the opportunity to customize your drink to your liking from ice level, to sweetness, to toppings (which interestingly enough they refer to as "sinkers" here).
I ordered their litchi fruit tea with jasmine green tea based along with litchi jelly, while my friend ordered their classic milk tea.
Given that it's a fairly small operation, I will note that it did take quite a while for us to receive our drinks. We were informed later that the reason was due to them running out of their classic milk tea so they had to brew a new batch, which is completely understandable; however, it would have helped had they informed us of this in advance so we could temper our expectations accordingly and wouldn't be confused as to why we were waiting about 15 minutes for our drinks to be prepared.
Fortunately, with the first sip of my drink, I found that the cup of tea was well worth the wait and enjoyed it immensely. My litchi green tea was not overwhelming sweet (even at 100% sweetness, at least to me) and had a prominent tea flavor that was not masked by the litchi in the drink. All in all, wait times aside, 8Teas Bubble is definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the Rancho...
Read moreAfter a few more visits it seems the milk tea drinks are slightly watered down. I appreciate the standard sweetness is less than most milk tea shops but even with 150% sweet my house milk tea ended up tasting very light after a few drink with way less ice. There’s better tea shops but unfortunately they are not in Rancho.
Really didn’t know what to expect but the reviews are accurate. Great selection of boba tea, made well here. The outside looked like it was closed, seemed a little too quiet when we arrived but we were pleasantly impressed with the service and our drinks. Glad they’re close by. But wish they were closer, Anatolia Marketplace or Sunridge Plaza has storefronts...
Read moreI recently visited 8Teas Bubble and I have to say, it's my new favorite place! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ordered the mango milkshake and it was delicious - so refreshing and perfectly sweetened.
What really impressed me, though, was the amazing customer service. I realized after leaving that I had forgotten my credit card there. I called back and the staff went above and beyond to help me retrieve it, making sure it was secure and holding onto it until I could come back and pick it up.
Overall, I highly recommend 8Teas Bubble. The drinks are amazing and the service is top-notch. I'll definitely...
