If you're looking for a culinary gem nestled conveniently right off Sunrise and close to the freeway, look no further than Bibi's Enchiladas and Grill! My recent visit to this delightful spot left me thoroughly impressed.
From the moment I stepped through the door, the warmth of the staff's hospitality was evident. The service was not only friendly but also lightning-fast, ensuring I could savor every moment of my dining experience without any unnecessary delays.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Oh my, where do I begin? I opted for the taco platter, and let me tell you, those tacos were nothing short of extraordinary. The taco shell boasted the perfect level of crispiness, providing the ideal vessel for the explosion of flavors within. The chicken, tender and exquisitely marinated, was an absolute delight to the taste buds. Each bite was a symphony of taste, leaving me craving more.
And let's not forget about their homemade salsas - an absolute game-changer! I've never encountered salsas bursting with such incredible flavor and perfectly balanced spice anywhere else. They elevated the entire dining experience to new heights.
To complement my meal, I indulged in their Hibiscus tea, which was a true work of art. Refreshing and expertly brewed, it served as the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful dishes.
What struck me most about the food at Bibi's was its homely quality - it felt like each dish was crafted with love and care, without being overly spicy or oily. It was a delightful reminder of home-cooked meals, albeit with a gourmet twist.
Needless to say, my visit to Bibi's Enchiladas and Grill was an experience to remember, and one that I'll be repeating very soon. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to support this amazing local small business. Trust me, you...
Read moreReview Update (bad/dirty): I'm dropping my 5 star review to a 2. We went today and the food seems to have gotten more expensive but the portions smaller (small bean and cheese burrito is $9 for example). We spent around $115 there today and left still hungry. We noticed the birria tacos were not as full either. The salt shakers have caked on dry grease and food, gross when you are eating with your hands and then have to touch a dirty salt shaker. The restroom was DISGUSTING!!! Pee, poop and hair on the toilet/sink, dirty walls, nasty walls and floors, no paper towels. Not a good look. It's obvious this bathroom has not been cleaned in a LONG time. I would expect ownership to notice this and take pride on presenting an all around clean restaurant for their customers. I don't know what the kitchen looks like but if they let customers see the restroom that dirty, it makes me wonder what the back looks like. On top of this, they have music blasting and the TV also blasting at the same time, can't hear either one properly. Both the music and TV blasting at the same time is not enjoyable to anyone trying to enjoy a meal.
OLD OUTDATED review: We have been driving half hour to Bibi's when they were in the mobile food trailer in South Sac for a while now! So glad they opened a restaurant and are closer to us now! We went today and once again the food was amazing! Fresh, crisp, and juicy, everything was just right! We recommend trying them out but don't be surprised if you become addicted!...
Read moreDont know where to start with this one. I came in here because of the great insta ads they have, pictures and presentation I must admit are very good. But, I have to be fair and honest so others dont do what we did. So this was for a dinner for 3, Quesabirria tacos (3), Boujee Quesadilla, and Boujee Tacos (3) w Rice & Beans. Lets start with the positives. The restaurant is very clean, bright and well taken care of. The food flavor is above average, but, not out of this world. The Horchata was OUTSTANDING. Well done, creamy, flavorful. One of the best in Sac. The Quesabirria is probably best bang for the buck here. Still, 3 tacos for $15. Ok, now for the bad. The absolute worst deal on Mexican food in the city is the Boujee tacos. It was 3 tacos for $23, and about 6-7 bites of food. Not kidding. If the tacos were bigger, I would have dealt with it. But I was disapointed the moment they came out. Again, flavor was above average, but for the cost of the food with the portion you get, its just not worth it. My son got the Boujee Quesadilla, and he said it was good flavor, but again for $18, not close to worth it. Feel free to give the place a shot for good flavor, but if you are going in with an appetite, I would suggest passing.
