Came here for weekend brunch. Large variety of food and drinks on the menu. I can see this being a fun boozy brunch place as there were 2 parties seated near us that were either birthdays or bachelorette groups. But the reason I give just 2 stars is because everything was under par and the spider web problem is especially gross. FOOD: We ordered 4 dishes, and none of us loved our food. My Ocean Omelette was so doused in hollandaise sauce to hide the fact that it was under seasoned, and the seafood ingredients weren't fresh. 2 of us had requested hash browns extra crispy but they weren't. A table of ladies next to us even loudly complained about how their food was served cold. The lady even held her hash browns in her bare hands to demonstrate to the staff how she could feel it was cold. DRINKS: This is what people come here for. The mimosas are offered in several flavors and are cheap, likely because they're mixed with juice from concentrate. (We had asked the waitress if the orange juice was fresh-squeezed, and she responded that it comes out of a large jug, lol) The millionaire mimosas that we ordered were much bigger than expected because they came with mini champagne bottles propped on top. I'm glad we split them. Great deal for like ~$15, and this was the highlight of our visit. SERVICE: Our waitress was fine up until midway through the meal when she got too busy. It took a while to finally get the check and even longer for them to retrieve it. AMBIANCE: We were seated out on the patio, which seemed nice initially. But as we sat there waiting to get the waitress' attention, we started noticing how the place is INFESTED WITH SPIDERS. My friend noticed a spider on his leg and that's when we looked under the table and saw the webs. On the fencing around the patio, more spider webs and enough that I could have thought it was leftover Halloween decorations. And worst was their sign on the front of the building. It was so covered in spider webs with all kinds of debris stuck in there. So gross. Clearly they don't do sufficient dusting of the outside area to the point that it's gotten this bad. I've included several photos with this review, including 3 detailing the spider web issue. I won't be coming back.

Mimosa House is one of our favorite places for brunch, so we thought we'd try this location today. We expected it to be busy due to the holiday, and it was. After waiting almost double the time we were told to wait, I walk up to the hostess who's been standing 3 ft from us the whole time, and ask how much longer it will be. She states she's been trying to text us...this was after I already told her I didn't bring my phone in the restaurant. We were sitting 3 feet from the hostess, yet she did not tell us our table was ready in person. Poor start. Ambiance-This location feels a bit like going to a Dennys. The whole set up feels very much like a diner, where everything is crammed into a space that's too small. There are tables within 5 feet of the entrance, and it's really not a great experience to eat when the door keeps opening and you're slapped with a gust of wind in your face. Service- Sub par. Food was delivered and we never saw the server again until we needed to leave. I finally got my coffee refill in a to-go cup on the way out. Food- Just OK. Our order was missing items, had overcooked omelets and half raw potatoes. This location is by far the worst compared to the 4 other locations I've been to. One positive is that you can see into the kitchen and they are constantly cleaning up in there. The bus boy was also on top of clearing dishes immediately. For me, this location was a fail and I don't think we'll be back to this one.

The hubs and I came for breakfast for the first time this morning (9/4/23) and let’s just say we were pleasantly surprised at how very busy this place is at 9:30am!! However, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately upon walking in! I love that!!!✅ Our waitress was very sweet and and attentive, but not overbearing. Since this was our first time at Mimosa House we asked her to give us a few minutes to look over the many menus she provided.✅ I would say this was the only 50/50 con for us! There was so much to choose from we didn’t know where to start looking first!🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🆘 Well we finally ordered and let me just say…..My strawberry pancakes, house potatoes, bacon, and eggs were all on POINT!! This is the first time I have ever ordered country style potatoes that were very flavorful and seasoned like I would make them for my own family! Flavor is what is usually missing from restaurants that’s why I don’t usually go to many anymore! But the cooks here GET IT!!! Geez! Nobody wants to pay $20 - $25 on food they have to season!!!🤷🏽‍♀️✅ My husband said the same for his steak omelette and pancake! This place gets customers for life!! Hats off to the cooks/chefs in this place! Job well done!!!💚✅💚

So I my constant motto is:

“If I rate something, either I love it, or I absolutely hate it. No in between.”

This mimosa house I love! So the food and drink are good. It’s a “brunch spot” in the aspect you can get your food and your mimosas and have a nice time. This isn’t the spot you’re gonna go and wear your fresh fit, the sun hats, and expect to hear ratchet rap music and see twerking. I’m sorry, I’ve been in the hood too many times for brunch. This is a more calm and docile brunch place. Food is always good and the mimosas have always been tasty. They have diversity in their mimosa flavors and they offer flights! The flights have 3 mimosas as opposed to the usual 4, but it’s cool. When I find the ratchet brunch spot, I’ll let you know, but this is definitely good spot where I would take my older relatives or my melanin deficient friends to go if I wanted a nice drink and a nice time.

Also, service! The service is good! Friendly faces and people always willing to help and make suggestions!

Oh and last but not least! You can order mimosas to go! So this mimosa house is by a trail. Yes I know, “who walks a trail and drinks?” If you see a brotha drinking and walking on them trails, Mind ya business and don’t ask questions. I went to walk on that long trail to the river and I was able to get a cup of good health (a mimosa) and some toast. It was a good experience. 10/10 would recommend to people that want to drink, but still be active yet...

Placed an order for 7 meals for pick up over the phone at 10:30am for a 11:15am pick up. This order is for a corporate meeting that was taking place with clients so it was important to get back to the office in a timely fashion. I get to the restaurant at 11:15 and they let me know they didn’t put the order in and it’s not ready….. I have a 30 minute lunch break and now have to wait for an order that was called in 45 minutes in advance and im late back to lunch. I explained how this now effect the entire office I work at now that our lunches are effected and we have a strict policy for returning to work on time. The manager apologized and said the kitchen is fast…. I paid for the food. About 10 minutes later I found out I wasn’t charged for all the food and now need to use the company card again to pay for the rest of the meal I asked to speak to the manager again because at this point it’s just carelessness they are busy it’s middle of the week this many mistakes shouldn’t be happening in one order. And I’m told just pay for the rest of it you’re here already. Like wow they are being rude after wasting hella time and making errors... So now not only am I late back to work I have double the paper work to do for the work expense report. Absolutely nothing was done to make the situation any better and it took 30 minutes from the time I arrived till I got the food. I have been to many of the different locations and NEVER experienced this type...
