I’m a Doordash driver and this place treats deliver drivers horrendously. The workers are insanely rude and ignore us when we come in. Even if the food is ready, they will sit there and make you wait for it for absolutely no reason. If you ask about it again to “remind” them, they’ll make you wait longer. Today, they made me wait 15 minutes while the food was “cooking” just to tell me they haven’t even started the pizza because they ran out of toppings and told me to figure it out. I am extremely frustrated. I filed a complaint with Doordash. Hopefully something changes.
Edit to respond to the owner: You did not respond to anything I said. Your workers are rude and unprofessional. They lied to my face to make me wait and then told me “figure it out”. I’ve been in there multiple times where the food is sitting there and I ask for it and they tell me to wait. I will remind them again and they make me wait even longer. They are RUDE to Doordashers. Yes, I can drop the order, but I can also be fired for doing that. Doordash does not give you enough time to call the store and ask questions before accepting the order. In regards to this specific occurrence I am referring to- they made me wait and told me the food was in the oven and to wait another 5 minutes. 15-20 minutes later, they tell me they haven’t even started the order because they ran out of food. Why did they treat me like that? Why are they rude to us and don’t want to deal with us? Why do they lie? Thanks...
Read moreOMG, best pizza ever!!! I'm a Sac County native but moved about 90 minutes away 7 years ago, up in the mountains. I still need to make it down quite a bit for doctor appointments and such. Today was my first time trying Delish Pizza, and I had it at the Gold River location. I couldn't be happier and have fallen in love, lol. I would consider myself a pizza connoisseur, so I don't say this lightly.
I ordered a custom personal pizza online for pick up. A little 8 inch pizza had the perfect crust, including the thickness (I ordered original). They absolutely did not skimp on the toppings, which were piled high. The roasted garlic are whole cloves!!! I love that I was able to order arugula and pesto drizzle after the pizza baked. I have never had such a loaded up personal pizza and could only eat half of it, getting two meals from an already very reasonably priced pizza, especially considering the number of toppings I requested.
Delish Pizza, especially this location, has made me an instant fan. I will definitely be back several times.
I called my pizza the Margherita special, which included red sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, pepperoni cups, red onions, mushrooms, roasted garlic (cloves), cooked tomatoes and finshed off with pesto drizzle and arugula after it baked.
Absolutely to die for. I have to try the Jalapeño cheese bread...
Read moreI really don't want to rate your restaurant off of one experience. I never review a restaurant. Here I go:
My son and I go your place. The majority, it goes fairly well. Today, we both enter in the place. My son loosens his shoe and kicks it off. It hits the menu board behind the cashier and falls right beside her. I already felt bad enough and apologized to the cashier. I did let her know that my son is autistic after the fact. She had two other coworkers there. I already know she's going to tell the other coworkers what happened. I could be totally wrong, but I believe she started to discreetly tell one of her coworkers what happened. I really wish she waited until I left. She turned her back to me and started speaking very softly and discreetly to one of the coworkers. Oh well. Needless to say, I won't be taking my son to your restaurant anytime soon. For the record, I don't want this to come off like I'm complaining. This is daily life for me, and that's ok. I just wish more people had awareness. That's all. I don't expect people to really understand. I think that's why I'm writing this post. When things happen, there can be more than...
