Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

I once used to rave about this place especially when they first opened. The owner she was also very nice and the customer service was satisfactory.

However, I am very disappointed with the customer service, especially from the young flamboyant male that took my order today and with attitude handed me my bag. I did not think it was cute it was just rude. But this isn't the main reason i decided to review. It is because as this youngester was taking my order i was asking questions about the seasoning and about the food.

I typically would order their tacos so i for the first time wanted to try the burger. But i felt he was I'm such a hurry and with attitude just not helpful that i ended up not further asking about the burgers ingredients. Well needless to say im allergic to garlic especially loads of garlic. The menu does not say it has gatlic and now I'm sick to my stomach bc one bite has made me so sick. Had this person been more helpful i would not be feeling ill. So yeah im very displeased and do not plan to refer people to them anymore and i will not come back again. I thought others would want to know how unfortunate this service was.

Shrimp Shack Cajun Fusion is located at Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. They offer a variety of seafood and non-seafood dishes.

I tried their Cajun Garlic Noodles but opted out of the Shrimp and Lobster. It was a great deal for a generous portion - possibly made for 2 people (or 1 hungry person) for only $5! While I wasn’t overly ecstatic about it, I still thought the dish was good. There is one extra flavor I feel it can use to round out the dish but can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s good though.

I also tried their Cajun Garlic Fries - this place knows how to fry their fries to perfection. I would love more chopped garlic, I found them all toward the bottom and sides as opposed to the top of the fries.

The wait time was a little longer than expected but the Haven City Market does provide other offerings while you peruse the venue. They do give you a vibrating restaurant pager to alert you when your food is ready.

There are plenty of seats (indoor and outdoor) to enjoy your meal. Again, great prices with good food within busy food hall.

Overall, I’d love to come back and try the other Cajun...

Disappointing Service/Shrimp and Grits. The Shrimp and Grits is NOT WORTH $14! The male staff who cooked the food was messy, complacent, and can't cook grits! I watched this guy cooked, packed and spilled my food. The grits and grease overflowed over the bowl and didn't wipe it. Then, he bags it with grease and grits all over my bag. I had to ask him to clean and wipe my bowl and put it in a different bag. I was given a bit of an attitude from this female and the male staff was laughing. I get home and my husband and I tried the grits....DISAPPOINTING! The grits was salty, not creamy, lumpy with big chunks of raw grits! I will never go back...
