El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

Honestly, I will never come back to this location ever again I was appalled by the disgusting and horrible behavior of the employees. I asked for a manager, and the lady would not give me a manager. I checked my receipt and her name was Beatrice. I asked for unsweetened iced tea multiple times while going to the drive-through And I got to the window and she still did not give me the unsweetened iced tea. I asked her if she could ring me up for an iced tea I would not mind paying for it and she would not. I asked her if she could bring it up on another register again, she would not allow me to order an unsweetened iced tea. She was very rude and I was honestly very upset on the behavior of the employee as I’ve never had a problem with this location before I have been working in the fast food industry for over six years when the store gets an order wrong it is the stores top priority to offer excellent customer service and better the situation by fixing the order she told me if I wanted her to fix the order I had to go back through the drive-through again, even though I was at the order window. Its amazing what a little cellulose pulp and pigment can do. In my case, that cellulose pulp and pigment, in the form of a coupon, got me out of my habit of cooking my own meals and lead me to my local El Pollo Loco. That coupon was for their new Double Protein Chicken Bowls. And after finishing my bowl (its actually a squared plate with edges), im glad that coupon came in my mail. There are several variations of the chicken bowl. I had the one called the Power Bowl which came with a double serving of their tender chicken over a bed of fresh spinach, topped with avocado slices, chopped corn, black beans, cheese, and their citrus dressing. This was the first time I've been to El Pollo Loco in over 2 years. I used to go once a month, but once they shut down the salsa bar I just pretty much stopped going. The salsa bar is still shut down, so I have no intention of returning anytime soon. I did enjoy the meal, use the coupon so it was reasonable. Unfortunately, we had to return multiple times for additional salsa because they just don't give you enough.
