Del Taco — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

Normally I would rate it 5 stars, but today it was strike two at this location. Been a frequent customer over the last 18 years. Well, tonight, I was on drive thru and to my surprise the sprinklers went off and one of them was broken gushing out water like crazy (keep in mind that I overheard the manager state that the problem was ongoing since yesterday).... Then as I pulled up to the window and paid, I was asked if I would like hot sauce, of course I do. I politely say yes, and asked for extra since I had a lot of tacos and burritos ordered. I saw the the drive thru employee grab a big wad of sauce packets for me. Get my order to get home across town to have no sauce put in my bagged order. My family was upset as I was, since this was the second time in a row they screwed up my order. I know it's just sauce but the sauce is the cherry on top! I called and was first ask to call back in 5 minutes due to manager being busy, I said okay, then the lady who asked what she can do to help so I explained the issues and to me to hold on. 12 minutes later I was still on hold after the 5 minute mark of hearing the manager ask if I was still on hold mind you. I called a least 10 times after, to keep getting a line busy. Which tells me that I one is still on hold. I called a bit past 8pm tonight and called just 10 minutes ago and line is still busy!!! It's almost ten minutes till 10pm!!! Pathetic, I guess it's time to go elsewhere. So...

This del taco on Archibald is the worst one to exist. I was a restaurant manager for 6 years for fine dining. If I treated my gusts the way the manager and staff treated my dad, I would have been fired and the my staff written up for following poor leadership. She was extremely rude when he was trying to order tacos and chicken rollers... she basically being a bully. Laughing at his accent, talking down to him... the staff followed her lead and repeated her behavior.. he's owned restaurants.. her attitude didn't faze him, but I was absolutely disgusted. AND on top of THAT! My 4yr old daughter was sick for 4 days due to food poisoning- cross contamination... That manager just didn't care and it was very obvious just with her attitude... And for the first time ever in my life I became a Karen... I contacted corporate, the health department, the city... everyone. My daughter was almost hospitalized... and this place ended up getting shut down by the health inspector for a few days for 3 violations... this location actually gets reported a lot! Like every 3 to 6 months! That is NOT good! Do NOT go here!!! Go to a different location or to taco bell across the street... I haven't been back since. Oh, I got sick too. But only for 24hs.. my daughter got the worst of it. Nothing worse than your child getting sick due to...

I love Del Taco but it doesn't love me back ,I was at this location the night before my order was incomplete and didn't get a receipt so today I came back for lunch I and told the employee that I was there and my order was wrong after I paid I only wanted to replace a drink I had not consumed and she said are you sure you were here when I showed her the FULL Del Taco cup from the night before I didn't feel like arguing for a drink when they messed up the night before and I did not drink it because the missing food was mine and I was too tired to go back and resolve this anyway I PAID for today's drink and I pulled to the parking to eat and lo and behold two napkins no sauces for my food ! I have to go to the front counter and ask for 3 packets mind you I only ask for what I can use not handfuls to stock my cabinets and the girls inside didn't give two cents about the issue,I will make a complaint to corporate they don't offer take out the least they can do is make sure Their DT...
