I frequent this subway just about every Saturday to pick up lunch and I've gotten excellent service but after going there last night at about 6:30 I don't think I will ever step foot in there again. Sadly it is walking distance from my house which makes it extremely convenient to pick up lunch or dinner. I want to point out that I don't fault the young man who was named Abdul for all of the poor service. I asked for 3 sandwiches. They only had one piece of oven roasted chicken so I had to order another chicken I didn't like. I also ordered a tuna sandwich but there was literally bottom of the barrel scrapings left in which Abdul smeared on my sandwich as if it was mustard or some other condiment. My guess was that he was trying to preserve whatever was left. There was barely any lettuce left among numerous other items. In Abdul's defense he was by himself in the middle of a dinner rush with about 5 people in line each ordering 2-3 sandwiches a piece. As I came to the register I witnessed an elderly Hispanic woman come out of the back talking on her cell phone and then did something on the register but offered no help to poor Abdul. Maybe the woman was on a break? Not sure? Nonetheless I've witnessed this elderly woman be very bossy and somewhat rude to new employees in training as I've frequented the establishment just about every Saturday. I finf it ironic that she did not lift a hand to help Abdul last night. She seems to be very adept at barking out orders on the Saturday's I've witnessed but does very little to help. The worst part is that I don't believe she is a manager. As I said it's a shame I won't be back. I merely say I'm here to pick up an online order so his employee is like okay let me get on that and starts making it. Some lady decided to leave because she didn't want to wait and he starts blaming the employee and myself! Saying that the online order goes by a certain time as if i twisted someones arm to make me the sandwich right now. Like if you need me to wait I'll wait, but you should just say that but being rude and insenuating im demanding a sandwich is actually insane and in front of a bunch of people. Read moreGot some coupons in the mail for subway this week. Made a trip but forgot the coupon so I had my wife txt me a pic of the coupon. I explained my situation to the guy working, but he would not honor the coupon stating that they had to have the physical coupon to avoid people reusing them.
Very disappointed!
The mailer I received had 5-7 of the same coupon. A wise manager would have taken the hint that if the coupon was valid, the marketing of the promo obviously worked to get me in the store. A valid promo used multiple times is a good thing thus your corporate advertising the promo.
This location will be losing a customer over what would have been an easy sale.
