I am not writing this review because of the food or service per say, however I am writing this solely because of the extremely RUDE manager. After standing witness to this manager acting extremely out of line with his employee (in front of me) I feel it is my duty to let people know what I have witnessed.
I meant to write this review sooner, because I have eaten at this establishment on several occasions of which a few times I have witnessed this same manager behave in a manor of a child. On this last occasion I was dumbfounded to see that he was talking in such a demeaning fashion to this young lady in front of my dinner dates and myself. The young lady seemed to have handled it well, however she looks very young so she may feel as if she has to accept this type of behavior from a boss. For someone in his position to literally put his hand up in her face and tell her "I am not even listening to you, so why are you still talking" is beyond rude. But that was not even the half of it when the young lady proceeded to tell him "Al I need your help with something" he then told her "of course you do, because you and all the other girls here can not do anything on your own" UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
I find it very hard to believe that a large corporation such as BJ's would accept this type of fowl behavior from their mangers. Further more now having the knowledge that this particular manager happens to be the store manager (one waitress said he is the general manager) I am even more confused why nobody from corporate has caught on to the problems that this particular location has within its own management. Yelp reviews, and other social sites all seem to have complaints regarding the management.
If any employee from this location happens to read this review, please know that you have rights. The young lady I witnessed being treated poorly, if you read this know that this is not how a professional manager acts, and know that his comments to you were borderline sexually discriminating. If anybody from corporate reads this, I hope that you do your part to make sure that you investigate what is going on in your...
Read moreOur family loves coming to BJ's in RSM for many years for special celebrations & good dining experience. Due to pandemic, we all have to place orders online, I had extremely bad experience twice this year. First one was in March (wedding anniversary celebration), we ordered online but the website declined the transaction twice so I called the restaurant to order, gave my credit card, we picked up the food. When I checked my credit card, I was charged FOUR times so I called BJ RSM, the manager was pleasant, told her what happened & assured me she will fix the wrong charges. The following morning, I was surprised that my credit card was charge SIX TIMES. Called the manager again and promised me she will fix the problem about the charges. The other FIVE charges was eventually removed from my credit card. Then recently, we ordered online for my birthday, the website declined all three online orders(using 3 different credit cards) BJ'swebsite stated that the transactions declined . So I called the restaurant to place our order, the employee told us that their website is having problem taking orders. Paid with debit card this time since our credit cards were declined. When I checked my credit cards, BJ's charged my orders that they declined. My debit card was charged. So now, I paid my order THREE times, I called their restaurant to have it fix. The person I spoke to told me "Next time, call to order and not use the online ordering" . So I suggested to have their IT fix the problem, so customers will not have to deal with the same problem I have been through twice. The guy told me that my online experience never happened before. All I wanted is for them to improve and correct the flaw in their website but the guy I spoke to doesn't believe that was the case. So if you want to be charged more than once on your orders, use the online ordering, and if you want to have your order charged once (as it had to) use the telephone. Otherwise, I love their food. Love the pizza's, baby back ribs, salad, burgers, pizooki. I hope no one has to go through issues of multiple charges for one order...
Read moreEDIT* BELOW* EDIT 2 ** BELOW Do Not go on Tuesdays! I usually love coming here with my uncle but Tuesdays they are overun with disrespectful kids looking for a good deal on the pizookies. Took 40 min to get seated and another 30 to get our drinks. Got in at 645 and have decided to get our food to go at 8pm since it hadn't come out yet. Again I do love coming here on a regular night but Tuesdays are the worst. EDIT** they had kids playing with a small ball and net in the adjoining room. Never seen it before and would not have a problem if the ball didn't continue to come through the doorway and the kids would run around screaming. Have never seen it advertised anywhere that this was the next high-end mcdonalds. Food is good and if ur into a heavy little kid environment head on over here but if you actually want a nice dining experience at a cute little bar don't go. One mother even had the audacity to scream at another patron that kids will be kids and if we don't like it we don't need to eat here. Management does nothing to mitigate for patrons who don't have kids. They only had a sign outside promoting board games, not ball games. EDIT 2 2 experiences where they don't cook the meat right, either too tough or too cold. Very troubling. When I asked the waitress if the kicking chicken sandwich had onion she said no but it comes with a coleslaw that did have onion. If I had known I wouldn't have wasted anyone's time and I would have asked for no slaw. Please be conscious of food allergies as well as...
