Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to shop at target in RMS and started off in the ulta inside not only did an employee keep on following my friend and I around she ignored me when I asked a question regarding where to checkout the makeup products. I didnāt receive an answer from her so I decided to walk out of the ulta section and pay at the front counter, when exiting the ulta section she rushes and stands infront of me and snatches the products out of my hand and tells me sheās going to check me out there. I let her know it was rude but continue to pay and decide to shop around. Later as Iām looking for snacks I realized the ulta employee has been following us for a while now. We ignore it and head over to self checkout where we pay for over $100 of merchandise. When leaving we are stopped by an employee asking me if Iām going to pay for the earrings I stashed in my handbag. I let him know I didnāt take the earrings and actually left them and let him know exactly where I left them and insist he checks my bags if necessary he continues to ask if Iām going to pay and then again I tell him to check my bag. He laughs at us and tells us to move along. Itās disrespectful how not only we were stopped and followed but humiliated infront of other for something we didnāt do. Target tell your employees...

I told her I had proof I just came in via texts, ring camera from when i left my apartment, and that they could even pull up security footage of me. She refused, and said i was holding up the line.
She did not want to look at any evidence including target's own security tapes. She did not want to look at my messages, or ring time stamps or any hard evidence that she accused me falsely.
I was wearing a mask, because I have a compromised immune system and a respiratory disease, and covid/flu is worse for me than the average joe. I drove 30 minutes there, and ran to the target even with compromised lung function.
I believe because I had a mask on she thought i was trying to disguise myself as this is what some people do to get more cards, unfortunate. I offered to remove my mask, and she refused and said 1 limit for me since I came in before, FALSE, I did not.
Is this discrimination to people with compromised immunity who have to wear masks? Even though they still offer to remove it to verify they weren't in...
