Daily's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

While I love going to this bar and enjoy the food and drinks here and most of the staff are great, I give this place two stars because of this new bartender.

I went with some friends on my birthday a few weeks ago and when I asked for the shot specials, she said they’re not doing shots right now and she had to ask the other bar tender if they’re doing them. What kind of bar doesnt do shots at certain times of the day? It was around noon on a Saturday and the bar wasn’t even busy. When we asked for another drink, she seemed really bothered and asked the other bartender to make the drink. It ruined our vibe at the table so we ended up having drinks elsewhere. We were being polite the entire time, so I had no idea what her issue was.

Fast forward to yesterday, I went with a couple friends again and had her as my bartender. I don’t think she knew how to make any of the drinks and kept on sighing every time we asked for anything, once again having the other bartender make her most of the drinks. She even said they don’t do “weird drinks” at Daily’s, even though I asked every other bartender on separate days for the same drink and they all had zero problem making it, which was a blue lagoon. Once again, I’m not sure what the issue is, but that kind of customer service makes me want to leave and go elsewhere.

If she’s new to bartending in general, I get it. I’m usually very patient. But the attitude and vibe she gets makes me want to go here less.

Great atmosphere, great music, huge place with lots of seating! I went for St Patty's .. The Corn beef was good but the veggies were awful! The cabbage was raw as if they just grabbed a piece to nuc in the microwave. When I ordered a beer, the Waitress asked me if I wanted it green? I said okay. She never mentioned that they charge 50 cents plus tax to add a splash of food coloring!?!
