Elissimo Coffee — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

MUST TRY-Originally I stumbled upon this coffee shop out of necessity real.... Spent the night in the area last night and absolutely needed a cup of coffee to launch the day, after some yelp-stalking research, I found my way to Elissimo and WOW am I glad I did. They welcomed me with open arms and conversation quickly drifted to all things passionate driven around coffee. Ownership and the staff are like a family that are so incredibly knowledgeable about their craft; from the high quality green coffee beans they source, to being completely in touch with the roast profile the community demands.

It seems that they're hyper aware of the small business community they've created and have gone to the extend of sourcing even the best local pasties to offer in store. It's amazing to witness a true craftsman and the fruits of their passions come to life and be remarkable. It's safe to say I'll definitely be coming back every time I'm in the area and would highly recommend checking them out for yourself, chat with the team, and have a legitimate coffee expirence....

This is a coffee house that has a feeling like you’re in Laguna Beach or a great craft coffee place in LA. The coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m super picky and snobby about coffee. Starbucks is not even close to being OK for me. I lived in Costa Mesa and went to Keene coffee and different coffee labs and this is better than any of the places that I’ve been in Orange County. Feel very lucky to live close to such a great place. Charming, friendly and eclectic inside and has the roasting machine visible in the space. It reminds me a lot of Deitrich’s in costs Mesa in the 1990s. It has a very relaxed vibe that is unlike any of the coffee places anywhere - it doesn’t feel like a corporate chain.
