I spent $110 (before tip) here for lunch takeout for two people, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in a long time. I ordered online about 15 minutes before arriving. When I arrived, I was told my order wasn't ready so I patiently sat at the front of the restaurant. However, I noticed two bags of food on the counter.
After about 15 minutes of sitting, I realized the two bags of food on the counter were my order. My food had been sitting on the counter the entire time. No one bothered to hand them to me until I finally got up and asked. By then, everything was already cold.
They still hadn't made my boba coffee drink, so I had to wait even longer for that. When I finally got home, I discovered they hadn't included my side order of white rice, nor did they include any condiments. Thankfully, I live 2 blocks away, but my food had already been sitting around getting cold for at least 15 minutes because the staff wouldn't hand it to me.
When I returned home with the condiments two minutes later, I was starving and went directly for the the beef rolls; they were soggy, stone cold, and had to be thrown away. Additionally, the boba coffee drink had no coffee in it. Everything else had to be reheated in the microwave. Absolutely unacceptable for a $110 lunch.
To make matters worse, their online system aggressively pushes you to tip 20%/25%/30% before you even get your food. I left $10 and honestly regret leaving anything at all.
I want to add this is the second consecutive bad experience I’ve had getting carry-out from them. When it happened last time, I thought they were just having a bad day. I notice all of the original servers are now gone. The high rate of turnover has had an extremely negative effect on the service, which used to be very responsive.
The restaurant wasn't even full, so there's no excuse for the service to be so bad. The staff clearly don't care, the service is incompetent, and the food was ruined before I could even eat it. I won't ever be back, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value your time, money, or a hot meal.
I wish them the best of luck as they expand into...
Read moreIt’s great but the issue I have is there’s no consistency. We have dined in and enjoyed but have had different experiences every-time. One time we get some tea and more traditional items to just be a dine in and the next time we don’t even get the wonton spoons to use. We have ordered take out multiple times and the containers are different sizes and quantities everytime for the same items. We come here to expect one thing and then when we don’t get it or it’s different everytime it just isn’t worth the cost. We love the sweet and sour chicken but sometimes it comes with peppers, pineapple and towered with sesame seeds. (Which my kids won’t eat) it’s just seems like they are still trying to find their identity and expanding quickly but as a big consumer I have no idea what to expect I am getting. I was disappointed tonight to spend over $40 on some soup and dumplings to have the soup be a different size than the last time. It was closer to closing time but still. Worthier drumroll the order the way it would be or don’t do it.
Unfortunately, it’s been multiple occasions for both dine in and take out. I just want to be able to rely on what I’m going to receive in taste and size. Was very disappointed tonight to see what was/wasn’t packed in my...
Read moreFirst time ordering food from this restaurant for pick up. Order taken quickly, employee friendly and courteous. Food was prepared quickly and picked up approx 15 minutes later.
Restaurant was clean and employees friendly, food ready upon coming in.
Ordered crab rangoon, crispy fried vegetable rolls, stir fried broccoli with beef and Kung Pao chicken and side white rice. All food was hot, portions generous and looked great.
The crab rangoon was outstanding and honestly probably the best I've ever had. Vegetable rolls we're good, however a bit mushy on the inside. Broccoli beef with excellent as was the Kung Pao chicken. As I stated portions were great and i ate leftovers for lunch next day.
The Kung pao chicken used both full size peppers and pepper flakes. If you don't like hot then please don't order this item; as honestly it's next to impossible to pick out all the flakes that were used.
My only criticism would be that white rice is not included with your meal, which is odd for most Chinese restaurants. Seriously it should be included!
Prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food that was served. We look forward to ordering / visiting this location in the future and highly...
