Sgt. Pepperoni's Pizza Store — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

We have been fans of Sgt. Pepperoni’s for awhile and have been to their Newport, Aliso Viejo, and RSM locations. I am so happy to have Sgt. Pepperoni’s here in RSM, this is the perfect restaurant for our family-oriented community. The staff are extremely friendly, the manager Conner is welcoming, collaborative, and professional and we had the awesome pleasure of meeting Andy! Andy is so welcoming, makes everyone feel like a friend, and we were so impressed with how the operators have been SO involved. Not just from opening weekend (which was awesome) but the operators are here shaking hands, making connections, and welcoming every guest into their restaurant. Sgt. Pepperoni’s also uses the best ingredients, their pizza is flavorful, and for the RSM location only being open one week, their pizza is consistent! On June 20th I spent $112.06 on an order of a few pizzas and some garlic knots for my family. After an hour and forty minutes they gave me 1 pizza and the garlic knots. I asked then and there for a refund because I couldn't wait any longer and the manager agreed.

It's now July 21st and I still don't have the refund. I've gone there multiple times to follow up and each time they've apologized and said they will give me the refund. I contacted my bank on June 30th to dispute the charge, and they've said the location has not responded to them as of July 21st.

I don't like giving such a low review like this. I understand the day I went in was crazy in terms of the amount of people there and the store was still opening. That I can let slide and chalk it up to being overwhelmed. Everything we ordered tasted very fresh!! The cheeses (chef kiss). Ordered the pepperoni and meatball pinwheels. They were larger than expected, cheesy and delicious. The spinach salad was fresh and there was no skimping on the toppings. The blue cheese crumbles were so flavorful, creamy and tasted like it was imported. The pizza was very good, but my only complaint was when we got it home the middle section (inside circle) was really soggy so you couldn’t really pick it up or fold it New York style. It could be because the crust was on the thinner side. This is the only reason why I’m giving four stars. I will definitely order from here again.
