Update to my review: This is a update from my bad experience. The owner Joe contacted me and assured me this is an isolated incident. Joe was extremely accommodating. Joe refunded my whole order and gave me a gift card. As a business owner myself I appreciate this extra mile. He did not have to personally call me, he could have sent a email or letter (I have a account with Rock City). I explained to Joe in depth what happened and he was apologetic and sincere. Interactions such as this make return customers and instill trust. Now I will be going back.
Worst experience of my life here. The manager lied and had his employee lie and I could hear them arguing in the back because she got mad because they were busted in a lie. I had food delivered and in that order was sweet tooth fries and I never got them. Then I call and I am put on hold for forever with someone who sounds lost and confused then a manager comes on the phone. The manager then says we dont sell sweet tooth fries so you couldnt have ordered them. I then tell him he's mistaken because it's on my receipt. He says come and show me the receipt. I get in a lyft. I come show the receipt and guess what the manager is magically no longer there. I tell the young lady here's my receipt. She says the manager left but I have your order. I then say how can you have my order if it doesn't exist, and why would he tell me to come if he knew the order was real? She shrugs her shoulders and says I don't know he's not here then she hands me sweet tooth fries and I say no I want my money back for the lies and hassle. She says oh I refunded you. Then I say why would he tell me to come down here with proof if he refunded me? Now I want a full refund and here's your food. She goes to the back and argues with him (because he lied and was actually there) then she comes back and says she can only refund me the sweet tooth fries so I ask for proof of the refund. I get it and leave. The sweet tooth fries were burnt and I just ended up throwing them away. I didn't trust them to not tamper with my food. Read moreI have edited this review since my initial one. This place has become one of my favorite places to order from. I had to unfortunately take away a star due to several mistakes with orders. Our house orders takeout and delivery from here almost every week. Delivery definitely is not fast for us, ever. It usually takes a good hour, regardless of what we are ordering, but we like the food so we are willing to wait. Even 2 salads took an hour once. They have xl subs which are huge, but i wish they would just make them smaller and fill them with more stuff instead, because the bread to meat ratio isnt great. You would be better off just putting one half of a sub onto the other half and tossing the extra bread. The chicken or meatball parm sub is usually filled a little more so i stick with that. I added 2 pics of the chicken parm sub with mushrooms, peppers, onions. The pizza is definitely better now than when they first opened. The veggie pizza is perfect.
