My first time to this place even though I've lived in the area for many years. The food was very good. Would recommend it to anyone. However not without a warning of few other issues may keep me from returning. Like many others, not accepting cards in 2023 is certainly a choice, but it's theirs to make. So I'll give them that. My main issue is that I was told meatballs were $2 each when I ordered over the phone. When I arrived and got the bill they were actually $3. Big difference when you're ordering 10 of them. Secondly, they charge you for take out packaging but don't tell you. As a business owner myself, you have to tell your customers these things. It doesn't matter how "old school" you are. Good food is hard to find in my area. REALLY hard. So being disappointed off the bat when the food was what I like is a real shame. I don't mind spending the money. But don't surprise people on their bill. Especially when everything costs way more than it should these days.

Very nice place, first visit for me. It was getting full as soon as it opened on Sunday at 1 pm - obviously very popular. Nice design inside - very old, antique look. Not sure how it is on other days, but on Sunday afternoon there were many very elderlies. Shockingly, this place doesn't accept credit cards - CASH ONLY 😮 They do have an ATM machine inside, but still... The food was delicious. We tried Cesar salad with chicken, gnoochi, eggplant, baked ziti, ziti with chicken and broccoli. My dish was Pollo Venezia - chicken with mushrooms and artichoke. That was so good! The waitress was very young and very nice, but made some serious mistakes, like passing very hot and heavy dishes through children and elderly hands and serving above my head. It could easily turn into a disaster, but thankfully it didnt. I would definitely come back, as the food was great and I liked the design inside. All personal was very nice, too.

The dinner was ruined because of management!! Let me explain: the service was wonderful I left a good tip however the management has all these rules that are not business friendly. I and my colleagues have expense accounts the restaurant would not give us separate cheques, just one check for the table. This is not business friendly, on top of that they do not take credit cards which is not advertised anywhere on Google maps or their website. The food was amazing the service was great the atmosphere was good, old school Italian. I wish I could give more stars but management has to understand and make changes. Business people have credit cards and on top of that the worst thing is they have an ATM machine which will charge you a fee depending on your bank!!! Completely disgusting I will not recommend this restaurant to my colleagues or to anyone else. I will never go back here.

I heard so much about this restaurant that I couldn't wait to try it, so it was our wedding anniversary and thought we'd try it, well, I wish I never heard of it. The only good thing was our waiter, he was good. I got chicken margarita n my husband got shrimp scampi, the chicken margaritas was a small portion n the cheese was not well melted n the procisuto was thick n hard, the chicken was tough and tasteless n hard to cut with the butter knife that I was served with it. You only received a salad or pasta with the meal, awkward usually the pasta n salad comes with the dinner entre, I chose the salad which was horrible, iceberg lettuce, too many onions and 2 wedges of tomatoes that were rock hard. The shrimp scampi had barely any garlic no butter n lots of oil, horrible, appetizer was garlic bread which was basically Texas Toast that you'd buy in the freezer section at grocery store, then the cheesecake dessert was disgusting, first for $10.00 u would think u would get a nice slice, but u got this snall medallion size with strawberries n it was hard, thick, chewy n had a taste of freezer burn, it was definitely old, I sent it back, manager said he had gotten complaints before about it n is in the process of finding another company to use, and I asked, so why are u still serving it? Absolutely horrible! The portions were small n didn't come out hot. Also, it was so dark in there, I could "barely" read the menu and see my food and they had us seated in this little room where there was a party of about 15 people and they were so loud we couldnt hear each other's conversation. We were very disappointed and will not...

Last night my boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We were really excited to be there after reading reviews and looked forward to a night out. Our waiter was kind and the food was delicious. Towards the end of our dinner I saw a RODENT coming down from the ceiling (corner has a small hole) behind my boyfriends head! I didn’t want to make a scene, was certainly frightened and disgusted since we are in the midst of eating. My boyfriend moved his seat and we told someone who came by our table but that wasn’t communicated to management. What made my experience worse was the reaction from management when they came over. She came over to talk about the bill not about our experience. The “manager” came over to the table to ask how we’d like to pay for the tip, my boyfriend answered 20%. He then shared with her what we saw and she apologized and asked “seriously?”, I responded “I am dead serious” and told her the size and where I saw it come down from. She apologized and walked away. Five or so minutes later the waitress comes by to bring us the check and says “she removed $20 off your bill. She wishes she could do more”. That was a complete slap in the face, as a manager who was no more than 10 steps from where our table was she could’ve come by herself to speak to us. I would never go there again and I don’t recommend others to go. If rodents in your restaurant isn’t a cause for concern than I and others certainly...

Fiance and I had dinner here last night for our dating anniversary. Pros: Dessert was tasty, quiet environment for conversation was nice. Cons: neither of us were particularly pleased with our meals and were unpleasantly surprised by the fact that this place is 'cash only', which meant we were unable to use an amex gift card I'd expected to use as payment.

Now, a particularly nice restaurant can get away with being cash only. This place, however, only really seems fancy (which just means it's pricey and dimly lit). The pre-dinner bread came cold with cold butter and tasted no more special than grocery store italian (no olive oil dip?), my fiance's ravioli side was still somewhat frozen in the middle, his shrimp 'meal' consisted of five shrimp covered in cheese, and my 'chicken in white wine', while nicely cooked, tasted like it was covered in nothing but lemon. Seriously, I enjoy me some lemon, but this was just...lemon. I just put some garlic, butter, and parm cheese on my leftovers at home to make it more palatable.

As said, the desserts were delicious and the red sauce on the ravioli was fantastic, but that just made me regret what I ordered, and being cash only seems entirely unnecessary and unwarranted. It wasn't enough to spoil our entire evening but it certainly left us wishing we'd just gone to...
