Stopped by three times. Big "now open" sign out front. Not open all three times. Very limited operating hours. Both Flemington Starbucks the most erratic, unpredictable Starbucks stores I've enter encountered. Either you're open for business, or not. My local coffee shop is always open with no surprises.
UPDATE: This location as well as the rt 202 Starbucks needs to just close already. If you can't stay open as a coffee shop in today's society, just close. These two Starbucks are shockingly inept. Management needs to be relieved of their duties. They complain about staffing shortages. But somehow other area businesses manage to keep their doors open. It's New Years Eve morning, and retail store is closed. Sign on door states drive through only and a 2:30 pm close. A pretty regular occurrence. On New Years. I looked in window, saw three people behind counter that were visible. Just yesterday, rt 202 location had same issues, but 5 people behind the counter. More than enough staff to pour coffee. Real coffee shops stay open till midnight on New Years Eve. If you can't manage your businesses, close them down already. You're wasting people's time and can't deliver the service. Meanwhile, Citi Spot coffee in Clinton is open 6:30-9:30, 365. I wonder if they accept...
Read moreI've been seeing a lot of reviews about the trouble this starbucks is having. To my knowledge when I was having issues with an online pick up order, they informed me that they are understaffed. I think that explains a good amount of the reasonings why they may be slower with timing. Overall, the staff is very friendly and will often accommodate any issues I've presented to them in the past. I prefer this starbucks over the one at 202 because it's less busy, and if you stop inside the staff always greets us and is very nice. I think people need to give the benefit of the doubt at the moment especially with everything going on in the starbucks news etc. I appreciate their effort and transparency.
P.S. so what if they are closed at a random time, I'm sure it isn't something that is in their control. It's probably another staffing issue since once again they always inform us that they are short staffed whenever I've gone there when they've just closed. They will tell us at the drive thru that they had to close not because they wanted to but because they are short-staffed. Be so for real, if a company doesn't have enough staff members, they can't operate. Also there is 202 just down the road which is usually open later anyway. There's plenty of starbucks to...
Read moreI always order with extra scoops and extra syrup and this time my drink tastes like milk and there is no syrup at all. Seems that in the afternoon they know how to make drinks...not the morning crew. They seem like they hate their jobs and everyone around them. Just rushing you through service to get you out of there, without compassion. I have worked in customer service for 8 years now. I've been an employee before. I have to stop in the morning for my daily dose of caffeine... I'm going to stop coming here altogether because even though it's convenient location wise I just hate that I've customized a drink that is never made the proper way. Not sure if they got the proper training or if they are actually reading people's customizations. I'm going to Starbucks in Readington they're amazing and they know what they're doing. Great customer service in Readington on rte 22. Go there instead. I really appreciate going to a place where they know how to take care of their customers. It's not convenient on 31 if I have to go back and...
