I went into the Verizon store on Rt 202 in Flemington because I wanted to find out if my bill could be lowered and I was told by a Verizon rep that if I returned this gadget that they placed in my car and if I signed up for a Verizon credit card go auto pay I could save $30 @ mon. This my problem began my bill went up $6 I of it. Then Sept came @ and it went up $20. I was told that I had no auto pay, which I signed up for and my loyalty of $20 was not applied for two months, thus I traveled to the Verizon store on Rt 31 in Flemington. I was ready to go to AT&T to see what they had to offer me. I met a rep by the name of Peter B. He listened intently to my story and said let me take a look at your account. He verified what I had told him. He began explaining my bill and how he could lower my monthly payment. I was in good hands I told myself and I surely was. He went away typing and asking questions and continued typing and asking questions until I was totally satisfied and agreed with him. He did lower my bill and I was very very pleased. He told me of a promo they were having and that for another $3 a month I could trade in my phone and get a new one. Now thatâs a deal I said. I also to my surprise received an Apple Watch FREE! His assistant set up my watch and gladly placed it on my wrist. Thank you Connor! I hit it right with the promo and finding this gentleman who helped me, who was intently interested in my problem and wanted to keep me as a Verizoncustomer. I was told I would get the credit in 2-3 billing cycles. 18 months later.. Despite stopping by the store in person 10+ times being told each time that it would be taken care of in 2-3 billing cycles... I called their customer service which told me the same thing until the last time, they said that it has been so long that they could only give me $300 +/- in $20 credit on the bills going forward. This from a foreign telemarketing sounding negotiator!

I will be switching away from Verizon on principle. Dealing with Verizon is worse than a bureaucratic state office with the exception they have some polite people with Zero Authority on the front end with serves only to deceive you to thinking that you will be taken care of while employing delay and deceptive practices.
There is NO WAY that the rating reflects reality.
They responded after I initially posted this review publicly online and said that they would reach out to me which they NEVER DID. Look up Verizon review on Better Business Bureau and elsewhere as you ill scarcely see 2star reviews. These ratings here no longer...

(By the way DO NOT buy any screen protector from Verizon as the brand âthe bullâ breaks SUPER easily. I have had to get this replaced for the second time because it cracks and chips. The workers can apply the screen great with no bubbles, but the brand itself is just horrible and breaks within 2 weeks of use). To the salesman who worked today 10/27/24 he had horrible customer service skills. I was under the impression that my screen can be replaced as many times from the date of purchase up to 1 year. Apparently that is not the case and was told the wrong information. So, Rather than coming up with a solution or being understanding of my situation the response I got from the salesman was âthe worker you saw the other day was probably just being nice to youâ.
