Waited 15 min in drive thru for flash cooked chicken. Hard as a rock and shriveled. Also cold. Decided to give their taco a chance. It was also cold. The shredded cheese was still cold on it. The shell was soggy in the middle. My whopper was old and reheated. The girl at the window was rude. I was unable to get her name and i could not find it on my receipt. When i tried to fix the problem no one came back to the window. I tried to pull back around and go through the drive thru again. I was asked to please wait and after 13 min i needed to leave and go back to work. I called from work several times and i received a message that the magic jack subscriber i was trying to reach was not answering. When i finally got through i was told to bring the food back and get a replacement. I work over night cleaning buisness i couldn't get back out until after 8 am and was informed that they couldn't give me my replacement because they dont serve dinner until after 10a. I would have to pick somthing from their breakfast menu. I told them i dont like their breakfast. I paid for dinner i would like my dinner. The girl said there was nothing she could do. So im out $15, gas, wear and tear, etc... it should not matter what time of day or night that I went into the restaurant. I paid for a service, I paid for a product, I paid the same as everyone else. It is not about whether or not I should just be grateful, or thankful, that the restaurant was even opened. It is about going in and paying for services that have not been rendered. It is about I was a consumer that I'd gone in just as everybody else, and walked out without the advertised or paid for product. It shouldn't matter what time of day or night I went in. If they are going to advertise to be open 24 hours a day, and they are paying their employees extra money to work the overnight, then the job needs to get done correctly. I did not receive a discounted meal because it's over night, so I should not have been given old food that just needed to be thrown away. And I surely should not have been treated as if I should have been grateful that they were opened to begin with. That is what was advertised that is what is paid for that is what the girls were there to...

My Daughter and I went to BK approximately 11:30 AM on July 11, 2023 (today). Drive thru. While taking our order, I could sense she was getting frustrated, but that's life. So, when we pulled up to the window, I tried to discuss the the situation with the attendant (later finding out she was a manager), she walks off while I'm still talking. When she returns I e pressed how I felt she was being rude. She said loudly, I needed your card to get the food," and walked off again.
Tempers flared, and conversation was Now shouting. I take responsibility for my yelling in reaction to her. I finally yell for her to give mthe food I paid for. As I was pulling off, another employee (later to find out he was a "manamger" as well.) comes to waive us off!
We drove home, and after approximately an hour, I called the BK Raytown number (usually not an easy find unless you've been publicly outed prior) to talk with the manager. The young Black lady who had been so rude in the drive thru answered, saying she was rhe manager. When I asked for her manager, she calls over the young guy who waived us off. Saying he was a manager.
When I tried to to through this discourse, he says we both had attitudes and we're yelling. Instead of resolving the issue , he tried placating her. Also, he was talking over me, pushing the same agenda.
I ended the phone call with Blessings, and decided to put this on Unleashed.
I've noticed this at other Raytown fast food establishments (KFC, Popeye, Los Compas, etc.), whereas places like Hy-Vee knows how to treat customers!
I'm adding another Raytown establishment I won't be frequenting. It's sad when the employees don't realize that as more of us stop frequenting their place of work due to disrespect, the sooner they'll be looking for jobs when that location closes.
And, I'll be grilling in...
Read moreI will never give this business my money again. After moving to Raytown we quickly learned that most of the fast food business' are poorly run but we chalked it up to COVID and understaffing. Not with this restaurant!
On one occasion, I pulled up to the drive through in the middle of day (1pm CST) and no one answered the drive through box, there was also no sign indicating anything was wrong. I pulled up to the window to see if anyone was around to take my order, someone actually walked up to the window and proceeded to put a trash can in the window sill to block my view into the restaurant. This was incredibly rude in my opinion and I drove off.
Several days later I attempted to give them a try again, this time it was 9:30am and when I pulled up to the drive through they told me they could only take cash that day. Okay, that seems normal. I have worked in fast food and my dad specifically managed a Burger King, I know things like this happened. I said, "That's okay!" and placed my order. When I got to the window they THEN tell me they are also no longer serving breakfast, keep in mind it is not even 10:00am at this point. I said, "Why did you not tell me this at the drive through box?" and then man said nothing. I then asked if I could order lunch and he said, "We are closing actually."
I can not make this up! It's insane to me that this place is still open. I have read other reviews about this place now and honestly none of them surprise me. Do NOT give this place...
