Pretty much every table is wobbly. Just annoying.
The servers chat LOUDLY to at each which makes it hard to hear the nice classical music they play…kind of kills the atmosphere to have to listen to them gossiping about people.
COFFEE IS NEVER HOT! NEVER. A HUGE disappointment.
The type of people who frequent this place are the types that talk loudly on their cell phone or better yet have their entire conversation or “very important meeting” on speaker phone. 😑 You know the type. Not a place for kids but of course these types also bring their kids and allow them to “express themselves”. You know what I mean.
Latte and a croissant $8. NOT worth the money.

I always have a great experience at Caffè Nero in Reading, and a big part of that is thanks to the fantastic staff! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a cozy break, they always make you feel welcome.
The baristas are friendly, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They craft each drink with care, and even during busy times, they keep things moving smoothly while maintaining great customer service. It’s the little things—like remembering your regular order or taking a moment to chat—that make all the difference.

The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience, and it’s clear they take pride in making customers...

Baristas make inferior quality lattes and the sandwiches 🥪 are mediocre (bread not freshly soft, often still feeling frozen 🥶 down the middle; the filling not all the way heating to melt in with the said cold bread 🥖).😬
Older lady - Lead barista (pseudo manager?) from Eastern Europe (Stasi?!😳)is obnoxiously rude, time and time again 👉🏻 a) behaving with rude manners at the point of order b) speaking in a condescending manner c) having a clear and present prejudice and insecurity and projecting it onto customers, constantly targeting them, week after week. 🙀
I recommend moving into a more welcoming, warmer and friendlier atmosphere and environment just a few miles...
