I enjoy the food but the manager at Reading location REALLY should learn that new thing called "Customer service", which I use to think was a basis for any business. My first interaction with this rude female was a year or so ago when I came in to order and was told that the waiting time would be 30 min since they don't have the rice cooked. I asked a cashier for a manager just to find out that the rude person with the poor time management skills I just spoke with was actually a manager. During the Corona lock down I tried to still support local restaurants and was ordering take outs. Beside that the food was always cold and guacamole half of the time missing, the really aggravating part was the size of the plate = half size of the usual order with a very few pieces of chicken. So, my family stopped ordering. Today, for the first time in a several months I decided to give them another chance and stopped by to get some food and what a "surprise" - nothing has changed, same rude manager. First she jumped in while another employee was serving me. She yelled that I should not touch anything while I was walking through the bay area. When I asked her to add some guacamole since she shook off of the serving spoon almost everything that was there, she yelled that "this is one serving and if you want more it will be counted as a double". Really pathetic. Needless to say that this was my last visit to Chipotle in Reading at 46 Walkers...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this Chipotle location. During my visit, I ordered a bowl with double protein. Initially, I was going to be undercharged, so I informed the staff member that it should be priced as a double. Unfortunately, instead of adjusting the price correctly, I was mistakenly charged twice for the entire order.
I didn’t notice the error until reviewing my bank statement two days later. When I returned to the store to explain the situation and request a refund, I was told they could not process any reimbursement without a receipt — a receipt I never received at the time of purchase.
I understand policies exist for a reason, but it’s disappointing that there was no effort to look into the transaction or take accountability for a clear mistake. I expected better customer service and attention to resolving billing issues, especially when the error originated on their end.
. I came in earlier today to resolve the issue but saw the staff was extremely busy, so I decided to return later out of courtesy — I didn’t want to cause any disruption during a rush.
I also asked to speak with a manager, hoping they could look into the transaction and help resolve the matter. Unfortunately, I was never given the opportunity to speak with one. It felt as though my concern was brushed aside, despite my patience and the clear mistake...
Read moreAfter putting up with this horrible place I finally had enough. Just as everyone else says this place is absolutely filthy. The tables inside and outside the restaurant are covered in garbage, the floors look like they haven’t been swept in weeks, and the counter itself where they’re preparing your food is absolutely disgusting it makes me nauseous.
Additionally, the staff here are rude, lazy, and clearly don’t care about their job. On more occasions that I can count, they have messed up my online order either giving me the wrong food entirely or forgetting an added side that I paid for. On several occasions, the chicken and fajita vegetables have been raw so I’ve had to throw out my meal entirely. Today was my final straw when I went to pick up my mobile order and as soon as I got to back to work to eat I noticed that they gave me the wrong bowl yet again. Luckily, work isn’t too far from this location so I drove back and went inside to get this fixed. The staff look like they wanted to kill me when I mentioned that this was the wrong order. The young lady who was making bowls even argued that this was the correct order.
