It at Beantown Adventure Ropes Course — Attraction in Reading

My review is simply for the staff! I wish I paid attention to the names of everyone I spoke with. I brought my son here today and he was a little nervous while we were getting the harness put on but the girl who was giving us the rules before we went up was so nice and patient with him. I even told her to move on to the next person because people were starting to line up behind us and come back to him but she continued and clipped the rope on herself to show him it wasn’t that scary lol

Once we started walking up the stairs, he no longer wanted to do it. Everyone was so nice about it and immediately went to remove our harnesses. One of the ladies (I think she may have been a manager?) came over and told him it’s good he tried and that’s all that mattered.

This may all be small to someone else but I appreciated all of it! Again, I wish I remembered everyone’s name. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back and...

Our 8 year old loves loves loves the ropes courses. Our 6 year hated the high ropes course & it was hard to convince him to continue on to get him back to the stairs & off the course. If your child is on the fence about wanting to do it, have them wait a year. My little guy was 100% committed but just wasn’t ready. You can’t help them down so it’s very hard as a parent watching your child panic up there & knowing that you can’t do anything to help other than offer guidance in your words. However, it’s so loud there that you have to scream to be heard. It’s hard to sound reassuring while screaming to be heard. My husband was right behind our son doing the ropes course but they only allow one person on each section at a time. Therefore our son had to walk across 7 sections of the rope course to get back...

Have been several times and typically have a good time. Of course, it's all dependent on how long you have to wait and how brave the kids in front of you are. There can be several log jams throughout the course because of nervous kids/adults so patience is a must. They just recently strictly enforced absolutely nothing in your pockets while in the air, which would have been better if there were enough lockers (most didn't even have a locking mechanism). Had to leave my belongings with the front desk without any type of legitimate system (i.e., ticket, box #, etc) which I was not comfortable with.
