Nick and Will always make a point to check off every single item in the receipt to make sure my order is correct. I especially appreciate the attention to detail regarding our lactose intolerant orders. They always makes sure to take the cheese off those sandwiches and it saves me a lot of headaches !!

Environment is very warm and welcoming when I come to pick up. I had a larger order for my office today and one of them offered to help carry it to my car in the rain so I didn't have to make 2 trips. Very professional and wholesome business, this place has quickly become a staple for our office breakfasts! I cannot recommend them enough!

Little disappointed I must admit. An older woman popped her head in the door with a small leashed dog on a very cold day. Stated she understood that she could not be in the store with a dog. There were no other patrons present at the time other than myself. Then asked if she could stand in the doorway to get a coffee. Flat out refused! No offer to let her order and then bring coffee outside to her. Swiss Baker has consistently offered great pastries , sandwiches and coffee at an excellent location in Reading MA. This is a small cafe that has yummy and healthy foods. Pastries taste more European (butter instead of oil, natural flours and sugars instead of the more common / cheap industrial flours and sugars), which shouldn't surprise you since the family that owns and runs it is from Switzerland.
