Subway — Restaurant in Red Bluff

Two days ago I went to this subway at 8-9 pm. I asked the (obviously annoyed employee) "Are there any mushrooms in your veggie patties? I know it's kind of a stupid question." She assured me there were not. So I purchased a 6" veggie patty sub meal. When I started eating, it was dark. When I got down to the end of my sandwich, a family member turned the light on & there was a big mushroom in the patty. I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC to mushrooms!!! My throat swelled up, I got rashes all over my neck, face & arms. I had to use an epi pen (they're expensive) & take allergy medications. This subway is officially the worst I’ve been to first off customer service was terrible even ignoring me at one point the veggies were gross and no napkins in the bag. having been working at a subway the process in which they took our order and made the food was all out of order I have never paid first for my food at any restaurant before unless it was something like then pizza and you go to subway cause you either know what you want r you wanna figure it out along the way and this subway has taken that away they don’t accept cash only card pushing away all younger people who may not have a card I will not be coming back here and I won’t be letting my people come without warning fix the restaurant this...

Ate here last night (Dec 15th) with my partner... we both spent the evening in agony with stomach pains and diarrhoea. We noticed whilst here that the public restrooms needed a key which has to be handled by workers, this is a poor hygeine practise in a place that handles and prepares food. We are both vegetarians and had been feeling fine until around 4 hours after eating here. We doubt that it was the food that caused it, but believe it was highly likely to have been caused by the staff handling a restroom key.
