This restaurant was one of the few open on July 4th. We stopped here for a late lunch after our Lassen Volcanic National park tour. The ambiance had a nice Mexican feel to it and the food felt authentic. We started with Chile Poppers(comes with a side of ranch), coconut shrimp (side of mango sauce) and chips and salsa were served without charge. The appetizers were very tasty and coconut shrimp was the highlight. For the main course we had Chicken Fajitas, 2 Fish tacos, chorizo chimichanga and chilaquiles with eggs. The food was good as usual, but the unexplained wait will make us think twice before going...

Waitress was alone, so service was slow at 6:00; never asked if we liked our meal or needed anything, we had to get her attention Ambience was provided by the TV...
