I don’t usually give bad reviews but this one took the cake, or should I say hash browns. The cook messed up two orders and gave 2 in our party hash instead of fruit. The waitress came out and asked the two mentioned that she needed their hash browns and asked if they would scrape onto another plate. Then the waitress said the cook needs them for another order.
Bad form we were all a bit grossed out. Then she came back and said he actually scraped them in the trash and did not plate them. Sure!! As we were leaving I noticed the sign in the window...Help wanted experienced cook. Maybe thinks will be better when they find a new cook. To bad it’s almost July. This place has always been good over the years. We waited for at least 15 minutes to get a menu and coffee and water. The pancakes were like a pizza crust, just a bit lumpier and my eggs were cold. I would think if one waitress was on staff that would happen, but there was three. Seemed like one was running the whole show and the other two were just working one table at a time. Not sure if the owners have change, but the food and...
Read moreThe experience I had was terrible. Bad service and food that was mediocre at best. I am severely lactose intolerant and can't have dairy of any kind without taking a pill first. I forgot to mention no cheese on my salad and when it came, I politely explained what I had already told the waitress about my dietary limitations. She sighed, grabbed the plate and said "well we have to make a whole new salad", all the while having an annoyed look on her face. I am also on a strict caloric diet so I asked how many calories was in the meal. A man came over talking about how they don't count calories and that all they do is serve food, laughing the whole time. I found this extremely rude. Overall the experience was horrific. I will not be attending again as this establishment is not accommodating at all to people with...
Read moreWe stopped for lunch at the Red Lodge Cafe and enjoyed a delicious meal. My wife had a taco salad and said it was delicious and loaded with ground beef. I had a mushroom & swiss cheese burger that was perfectly cooked and served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on the side. The burger was accompanied with my choice of potato salad instead of fries. We both had iced tea. The food and service were both great, but at $30+, a bit expensive for lunch. My only objection was the $1.30 convenience fee for paying with a credit card. A notice of the convenience fee is posted in the restaurant, but in my opinion, it should be covered in the cost of the $12.95 taco salad and $2.95 cost...
