Carbon County Historical Society & Museum — Attraction in Red Lodge

Went last summer. I absolutely loved this museum! Downstairs was simply breathtaking. They have a mine exhibit that made me feel like I was actually underground. It also made me think of Gorge Orwells description of a mine in Road to Wigan Pier. Witch lead to a fantastic conversation with the lady who was working. She was well informed, helpful and polite. Unfriendly staff.. we walked in with our masks on.. we're not big on wearing them but don't mind putting them on for places that require to do so. the guy working there did not have a mask on so we asked if we need to have ours on? From their Rodeo Exhibit and state of the art Mining Exhibit, to the incredible Speaker Series and Field Trips, you can feel the love put into this place.
