Let me start off by saying this, Michno's has been around for quite some time, and anyone from the area knows about it and has probably been in a few times. For those of you unfamiliar with the area or this place, the term Cafe may be confusing and misleading. This place isn't what you'd typically be thinking of as a Cafe (though you may be able to coffee here). People are coming here for the booze, not the coffee pot. That's right, you heard me correctly this place has swapped out the coffee and pastries for booze and burgers—and I ain't mad about it.
So what is Michno's you ask? Simply put, it's a local neighborhood dive bar that's been around since the late eighties— and no I don't mean "dive" in a weird, sketchy way like you might be thinking. It's small, yet big enough for a group of friends to have a good time. it's relatively clean (though I wouldn't venture past number one in the men's room) for a dive bar, and the staff is friendly. Michno's, like many other bars established around that time does have it's limitation size wise—as it is not very big, and I could see how it could easily become crowded on a heavy drinking night like Thursday, Friday or Saturday. I don't think you'd ever run into a situation where there would be a wait, but I could be wrong.
In my personal opinion, this would be a good place to maybe meet up with a couple friends to catch the game. They do have several TV's and a very large projection screen for your enjoyment. They have a full bar as you'd expect, several beers on tap (though the glasses are an odd size), several by the bottle, and I believe wine as well. They also boast quite a large menu of pub fare type foods. Nothing fancy, but more than you might find at another bar of similar size. I personally did not eat here, as the smell of the food being cooked was a bit off putting, but those I was with were eating and enjoying their food. I also have a few friends who frequently eat here, so don't let my sense of smell steer you wrong—definitely try it for yourself.
All in all, this is a fine place to grab a drink with friends—though there really isn't anything here that would be me want to keep coming back. Based upon what I have gathered, this place mostly caters to the same regular crowd that finds themselves there, which is totally fine it just doesn't really do anything in particular for me. If you're in the area, stop in and give it a whirl—you'll either like it...

Came after kitchen closed but was able to order wing dings and tater tots ... they were hot and good. 1st long island ordered wasnt strong at all, 2nd one was on point! Hubby's bahama mama was ok, he sipped on it but he was good before we arrived so can't really give a fair assessment. We had three drinks, two orders of wing dings and one order of tater tots ... all under $40.00! Can't beat that! Will...
Read moreI love this place and the food is great! but the owners son who works there is the laziest person ever! He puts all his work on the waitresses that work there and he changes the TV like constantly when there are people watching what is on the TV! Also some days on Sunday he will take shots behind the bar like it is nothing! It would all be better if he honestly wasn't being so...
