One of my favorites of all time.
Not sure what it is about this place but it leaves me feeling nostalgic every time I come here. I have my favorite seat (which is usually always taken). Nothing beats parking my motorcycle out front and seeing her through the window. Hopefully this isn't frowned upon, if so I will adjust. The patrons seem to all be regulars. I have had handfuls of random conversations with them, really enjoyed it all but you can easily just go and be left in your own peace as well. Bridgette, Logan, and Tara are amazing, so are the other staff members but I have yet to catch their names. Lunch menus are good helping sizes, the omelettes are a little on the smaller side but still enough to fill you up. I have yet to order dinner here as they close at 3pm. You never feel rushed out of there. The music they play is just simply great, It seems like a mix between 100.3 and 104.3. I have eaten at a lot of local diners but this is one of my top 5 up there with Dulys and Lafayette. You would be silly to not stop here after seeing all the positive reviews and 5 star rating.
How did I end up here? My local spot a couple miles down was closed due to plumbing issues so I was headed to a place across from here but all the reviews I seen about this place and it's curb appeal drew me in instead. No regrets and have frequent this place...
Read moreYou know this place was a hidden gem and it’s a neighborhood restaurant that I frequent but I’ve noticed that the food is starting to get really mediocre, I requested for my food to be a certain way. My food is dried out. When I dine in My food is way better, It was like my food was thrown together, I simply asked for my eggs to be cooked lightly because I do not like my eggs fried hard at all. That wasn’t the case I received a total opposite. My food isn’t good at all , Cost of living is too expensive and food has gone up for me to receive food that’s not good.. Every time I carry out my food out, it’s not the same and something told me to sit on the inside and eat, but I did not have the time but either way my food should’ve been cooked correctly.
I really don’t think I will patronize this place again even though I love the staff and it’s very...
Read moreWhile visiting Livonia for a week, I decided to try some local restaurants. This one is by far the best I've been to here. I ended up getting the #1 breakfast special, which consists of 2 eggs, hash browns (or fries), choice of meat (I got bacon), and toast, all for less than $6! Food came out fast even though the place was packed (inside is a little small) and was well beyond my expectations. Having an Irish influence (I think the owner is Irish?), they really know how to make their potatoes. I will definitely have to come back the next time I'm in town.
Pros: -Amazing food -Quick service, even when restaurant is packed -Amazing price for the amount of food you get -All staff was very friendly
Cons: -Being in an older building means that it was a little cramped inside. I would love to see this restaurant upgrade to a bigger...
