Been coming for over a year and the lunch special is great. The chatting has died out and the food coming out is good. Service is always friendly and prices are reasonable.
Wow!!!!! I love this place! I could hear the wok cooking my Kung Pao chicken. You get soup, rice, egg roll, and entree for $9...what a deal!! Let me tell you about the egg flower soup, it fills your body with warm delicious goodness. I put a little sauce and it just warms my heart. The entree was a good big portion that I couldn't finish, and that is saying something. The staff is very friendly.
One suggestion to the staff, please keep the kitchen chatter down, it sounds like you guys are arguing and if thats the case, it makes it a little uncomfortable. But thats just because we don't understand otherwise I would be all into it š
New day new meal... I tried their General Tso's chicken, it was just orange chicken with different sauce. It was good, but I really don't like orange chicken because of the excessive breading so I was not expecting it.
The talking between the ladies gets obsessive to the point that sometimes customers are thrown off or not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to eat here before my night shift. It was my first time and perhaps my last. Ordered no. 1 combo on the menu. The service was quick and efficient. when the food came it felt like i was at a barbecue. paper plates and disposables⦠the food was average to say the least but what really ruined the āambienceā was the smell of paint. i came in at around 8:20pm knowing they close at 10pm. A minute into my meal some near the back of the store started painting and repairing something. I had my back turned but the smell of paint was overpowering. the couple in front of me complained about the paint smell but nothing happened. finally after a few minutes the couple complained, asked for a refund and left barely touching their food. when they left i was the only one in restaurant eating. I tried but the smell was too much even though they had stopped painting after the couple complained. I then paid for my meal to go and left. it just baffles me that they would do repairs during business hours while customers are eating? Now iām stuck with the memory of eating chicken with the aroma of wet paint. what were...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlways having tasty Chinese food, there are new problems at this restaurant, that can be corrected. I presume that 90 percent of their business is Fast Food Take Out. My first concern is that the staff are exhausted! I know that the ābottom lineā is financial profit, but having a 90 minute closing time between lunch and dinner would seem to me be a way to improve workerās attitudes and ultimately restaurant quality and success. The second concern of mine is the new trend among Chinese restaurants to have paper plates and plastic utensils for ādine inā customers. I recently paid more than thirty dollars at Open Kitchen for soup, tea, and an entree, which was served to my table on paper plates, plastic bowls and flimsy plastic forks and spoons. For what I spent, I would have expected to be served on REAL or manufactured China, which is not expensive. Dish washing is the only cost associated with this practice. When selecting a place to have lunch, I am now avoiding ALL restaurants that serve dine-in customers on...
