We stopped by Taco Tia in Redlands, the last remaining location of a chain founded by Glen Bell—yes, the same visionary who later created Taco Bell! It’s incredible to experience a piece of local history while enjoying some fantastic food. We tried the hard-shell ground beef tacos, and they did not disappoint! Made fresh to order, they were packed with great flavor and had that perfect, satisfying crunch. The red sauce they serve alongside is a game-changer—it pairs perfectly with the tacos, no extras needed. The drive-through experience was smooth and efficient, with clear signage and a convenient parking lot. Even with a few cars ahead of us and plenty parked, the wait was quick—a true sign of a beloved local spot that delivers on quality. Overall, the tacos were excellent, and I’m already looking forward to returning to try more of their menu, especially the intriguing taco burger. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to visit this local gem and taste a piece of history!

Ordered a combo burrito bean rice cheese and ground beef for five bucks it ain't bad sauce was really good I did not give it five stars because I don't know what the inside looks like I went up to drive through it was fast service I went around 1:30 or so in the afternoon it wasn't too busy Staff ver friendly he gave me a walk-on because I told him it was my first time there he mentioned that everybody loves the salsa which I agree I see myself going back again

This place was a favorite of mine in the early 90’s. I happened to be in the area so I got a crunchy taco, green burrito and a meat burrito. Dang that was good but I only ate the taco and green and now I’m having the meat for dinner. It’s the same as it’s always been. Good, honest food in Mexi-California flavor. You won’t find this in Mexico or Texas.

I grew up with the Taco Tia in Riverside. I told my better half about it and she found this Taco Tia in Redlands. After Her rotation at Loma Linda Hospital she stop off and ordered 6 burritos for our family. When she came home we only had 5 burritos. We called Taco Tia to inform them that they forgot to place one of our burritos in our bag. We made a request to pick up the missing burrito another time since we live over 20 miles away from the restaurant. Our request was met with hostility from the owners sister who answered the phone and rudely insisted that all six burritos were in the bag. We ask to speak with the manager whom apologized about the missing item and let us know we could come back to get our burrito. However, In the back ground we could hear the rude comments continuing by the owners sister. It’s clear to us that stealing a measly 3 dollars is far more important to the owners than having return customers. How far has this franchise fallen. I can see why there is only one...

I've been going here everyday on my lunch, work like a block away. I'm highly picky about Mexican food, hit up all the local joints, Amapola, Alberto's, Angeles that type of sort of stuff. With how those spots operate they're always hit or miss. This place has not disappointed one bit, the food is fresh and extremely flavorful. Not once has it been a miss. I'm very big into traditional Mexican burrito with rice and beans, cilantro and cebolla, honestly one of my favorite foods. This spot (although smaller than others), has that best kind of burrito from any spot. Don't mind shelling out the extra $ for it, as again, the flavor is astounding. Chili cheese fries are also solid. Heard about the spot from my coworker and I haven't taken my lunch elsewhere for a couple of months now. Also the staff is extremely kind and always nice...
