I am a season pass holder and had passes for the entire family and encourage several families to see several shows at this theater. I missed the last show due to personal reason. I tried calling several times, but i always get a voicemail. Re-scheduling is such a hassle as you have to call or speak to someone during the hours of operation and can’t do it on their website. I called to inquire if I can have my tickets moved to another day as an exception, but was told “NO”. There’s no question asked of why I missed, it was a right away no. I was also told that you have to call 24 hours ahead to reschedule. I understand the policy and respect it, but I feel that exception can be made in some circumstance. I tried my best to support local community events such as this one. However, with the service you get how can I continue to support or even encouraged others to participate? I’m glad I didn’t renew my pass for next year. It will be much appreciated if the reason why request cant be accommodated was due to last week of showing and if that’s really the case, there’s other upcoming shows that could have been offered if the intentions to make things...
Read moreI was looking forward to this, but I ended up enjoying it even more than I thought I would! The shows are all written by the same guy, and they're really good. Mostly musicals, all original. Some Biblical plays, but most are not (Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, Tom Sawyer, etc.). He takes the original stories (from the original books or fairy tales - not from the musicals or movies based on them) and adds in some Biblical messages, but not in an overly cheesy way. The actors are all volunteers, and because of that, it's even more impressive how good of a job they do. Tickets are about $25 each, but if you buy a season pass, it goes down to $19 or $20 each. The great thing about the season passes is you can share the tickets and use multiple on the same day. For example, I just bought a 8-show season pass. I want to see 4 shows coming up this season, so the 8-show pass allows my husband and I to each see 4 shows (= 8 tickets). The season passes come with coupons for a free cookie and coffee, but you can alternatively buy a cookie/coffee combo...
Read moreI am unhappy with Lifehouse Theater. During COVID, I had 7 out of 9 tickets left for my seasonal pass. 5 of the 7 remaining were for the play Esther. I sacrificed money to buy a season pass to a Christian based theater, to get an email saying that any unused tickets will be counted as a donation. A better alternative would be to roll the tickets over to the next season and be credited. The plays were enjoyable, but I can no longer take a chance on spending money on tickets for an unforeseeable situation and lose out on cash. Lifehouse had a lot of backing on a gofundme, and easily could have given a credit for the following season. Very saddening, but would like to thank Lifehouse for the 7 years of...
