UPDATE:* I am editing my review to a one-star based on the feedback received. As noted in my previous review, I was not directly blaming the store but stating that there was no drop, break, or significant damage that caused the screen to break, other than carrying the pocket. Not more than two days went by before it cracked. To say "no customer can justify blaming our store with a real accusation" is incredibly self-absorbed and does not take any semblance that there could be a faulty screen or human error in the process. I am not supplying anything "vague" at all...my screen cracked with no abuse, and there is nothing else that can or needs to be said. I did not even get to the fact that this new screen did not include the fingerprint reader that was standard to the original phone, meaning it was not a legitimate screen purchased for this functionality from the company, but an aftermarket product bought to fit/save cost. Or that the lower corner wasn't working fully and typing on the keypad would go in and out with functionality. Blaming the customer without any validity on your end is incredibly rude and arrogant for something that I can genuinely say the store should take more ownership or acknowledgment. If you believe your business is 100% perfect, continue to advertise it as such. No business bats 100% or is free from error (just as a customer), and that is a fact. I can say that my experience was a genuine letdown from the moment I walked out the door until the "blame the customer always". Buyer beware...this shop says it is always your fault.*
I really wanted to be able to write a positive review. I was very pleased with the responsiveness of Cesar, his upfront nature about cost and timelines, and his willingness to provide me with solid service. I had a crack in my Google Pixel 6 Pro phone and was looking to not have to purchase a brand-new device yet. I received what appeared to be a fair quote given the cost of the screen and battery, and I brought my phone in for what would be a 2-hour turnaround.
What ended up happening is a minute scratch/crack developed not more than two days after screen replacement. Inquiring about this development, I was told that it must have happened was my fault, as "screens do not break on their own." Having equipped a new phone case and protector, then the culprit must have been carrying my phone in my pocket, something that had never once caused damage the entire year I had it previously. Fast forward a few days later, and now I have cracks appearing all across my phone that have rendered entering my login or using the phone virtually impossible. The slow realization that I paid hundreds of dollars to essentially turn my phone into a brick gradually struck. I didn't have this repair for more than a week and now I am in search of a new device. Lesson learned.
If you are in search of phone repair, by all means, roll the dice and get it replaced. Rather than put the blame squarely on RASeletronics, I would let my story be your cautionary tale and warning. There is no guarantee your device will be restored to working order with a screen replacement. I did not put my phone through any abuse during the week after repair, and yet it completely is unusable now. I would have been better served getting a new device with a nice warranty, and I will not make the same mistake again. Know that going for the stopgap of repair will never be the same guarantee as getting a new device, and unless you want to risk tossing hundreds of dollars on a wing and a prayer, I strongly recommend you look at biting the bullet and picking up a new device rather than try to replace a screen that you cannot warranty.    Read moreDisappointed with my service. Cracked the front and back of my iPhone, and brought it in to get it replaced. Both screen, sound, and camera were working fine before bringing it in. I paid over two hundred dollars for replacement, and when I picked up my phone and took it home the touch screen wouldn't work and the phone would reboot after every 3 minutes, even when I would just let it sit on a flat surface without touching it. Brought it in first thing in the morning the next day, and was told that when they change screens there is a possibility that other pieces that were held together could become damaged during the replacement. In order to get my phone functioning again, they placed a different colored frame and back screen on my phone (blue) than what it originally was (grey). If I wanted to get another grey colored piece like the original color I had, it would have to be an additional $150. Decided I just wanted my phone back and agreed with the placement of the blue frame. After bringing it home again, at night time when I wanted to use my flashlight it wasn't working, and then I realized that my back camera wasn't working as well. Had to come back the next day again for them to fix my camera and flashlight. My personal preference in this situation would have been for them to have warned me beforehand that there was a risk of additional broken parts that could become an issue when dismantling a phone. That way as a customer you a prepared to financially pay more if needed, and can make the decision to that risk. Not to be told after my phone had already been dismantled and not functioning properly. Paying over two hundred dollars to leave with a phone that looks completely different than what I brought in is completely disappointing. Not to mention having to drive back and forth multiple times on 3 separate days in order to get my phone functioning normal. The only good reason I would credit the 1 star, is simply for how well mannered and respectful the employees...
   Read moreNew Local business I was willing to support. Brought them a working surface pro for a battery replacement. After almost 3 months they gave me back a non working surface pro. Little to no communication over the whole process. The only time I would get updates is when I called. When I did call or go in they always had to call someone else to get any answers. When they finally decided they could not fix it is they only time they called me. They then recommended me to a place in Florida. Would not use again.
Edit: response to comment. All of these things you're saying you're done have never been communicated to me till this review. The only thing ever communicated to me was you had to send out for a battery. It is true that it was brought to you with a bloated battery yet I was assured by the technician who checked it in that this was something you could fix. In the end I brought in a working computer and left with a broken computer. Had the process and everything been communicated me during the entire time maybe my experience would have been different. You set expectations you did not live up to them, until the end of the process never was I contacted by someone at your shop to tell me what was going on I had to call in each time this is not...
