Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Redlands

I felt unsafe at this restaurant. When I arrived, it was full of people who had ordered up to 1hr prior. Apparently they were short on ingredients and waiting for them to be delivered or prepared. The cashier didn’t let me know about this prior to taking my order. My fault I guess for not noticing that no one in the restaurant was drinking anything. After witnessing a tense verbal altercation between him and customers asking for their orders to be filled, some of whom were granted refunds, the cashier walked out. Other patrons stared me down with aggressive intensity when I asked about orders. It was very uncomfortable. I’m sitting here now 25min later and still haven’t seen a drink come out of the kitchen, which now only has one poor girl working. They’ve got some kinks to iron out on the management side. Be wary for a few months I’d say. . Update: after 35 minutes only a couple more drinks had been served. I asked for a refund and left. They ran out of boba and only told us after we already paid and were waiting. We decided to ask for a refund for the boba pearls they charged us for, to which they tell us “actually, we can’t make your other drinks either”. We ended up getting a refund for all of the drinks we ordered. Management: please go over the importance of prepping boba pearls ahead of time. The worker said the boba pearls would be ready in about an hour. They need to prep it once it starts to get lower in supply. Because of this issue, I prefer the location in...

I came here spontaneously and have found my new favorite boba location. The shop is clean and cute and sells nice keychains. They take card and cash but I recommend paying with cash. I came with 6 people and the staff explained the menu to us and helped us pick our orders. They took their time to help us and we did not feel rushed. The price was great for all the drinks we got!
