8/27/24 EDIT: Still the slowest “fast” food location I have ever been to. My original review is below, but I wanted to add that I decided to give BK a chance again last night. They were even worse. I sat in the drive through for 20 minutes; in that time, they served a single car ahead of me. Since I was 4th in line, I had the cars behind me let me out. (2/3 others also just left.) I drove to Arby’s, quickly picked up a delicious meal, and drove home past BK where I saw the car that had been behind me still in line.
I like BK food, but I wouldn’t ever advise anyone to visit this location, sadly.
ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2023: I have been to many, many different fast food restaurants throughout the PNW. This location is the slowest by a large margin of anywhere I have eaten. I expect to spend no less than 15 minutes in the drive through for a basic meal here. Sometimes, I see that there are no cars in the drive through in front of me and rejoice at having a shorter visit. When I am literally the only customer, it still takes nearly 10 minutes from starting to order to driving away. I enjoy the food, so like a fool I keep coming back. But this location has the absolute worst service, employing staff that have no care or clue of customer service.
I just spent 5 minutes thinking about what to say and typing that out. In the past 9 minutes, my car has not moved. Yes, I’m writing this from the drive through. This is the quality of their service. I hope they update their staff and practices someday!
EDIT: after finishing writing the above, I gave up since half the cars ahead of me has yet to be served. I went to Arby’s down the street and had a great meal in a...
Read moreThe last two times I’ve ordered here are unbelievable and ridiculous due to rude encounters with their staff. If I had one recommendation, it would be to make the drive 15-20 minutes to the Bend BK location. Where the slogan is "have it your way" this location does not live up to this claim. The drive thru times are a long wait, be warned, and the staff here are just not happy in the slightest. Our order consists of the same burger I’ve been ordering for 3 years now, "plain with cheese." Simple right? Well, apparently not. Last time I went here, I dealt with a man whose response to missing cheese on my burger was to aggressively hand me cheese half-wrapped in a paper wrapper, a silent order to do it myself. Alright… great. This last time (our final time here) the burger was made with the cheese, but upon checking I discovered it not plain. Went in to make the correction only to listen to the woman in the back infuriated that she had to make it again. I understand you guys are busy and I never go in asking for corrections in anger—mistakes happen… but if it isn’t made correct the first time be prepared for customers to come back asking for what they initially ordered. Don’t make them feel like garbage about it.
I would like to thank the manager I spoke to about my first visit, (I think his name was Matt?) he was kind and understandably in disbelief. I would also like to thank the drive thru/front counter employees from today for being nice and understanding about our situation, unlike the spiteful woman in the kitchen. Despite their kindness, I will not be returning to this location any longer. Hoping the Bend location has food just as good with...
Read moreI am a fan of the food a BK, but my last visit was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a quick serve restaurant. To start, they were out if unsweetened tea, which was only a sign of how poorly things were about to go. I ordered a double cheeseburger kids meal, a whopper with cheese, an impossible whopper, two original chickens with cheese, some fries and a 10 piece nugget. Upon pulling up to the window, the staff in the back was literally screaming at the people up front about how they didn't have enough meat for the double cheeseburger. The window girl decided to come ask if I would just take a single in an attempt to solve the issue. Not excited to short my son on what he wanted, I agreed and was offered a cookie. After we got home with our food, I opened my whopper because it just didn't quite seem right. To my dismay, it was actually two double cheeseburger patties with one ripped in half around the other. Then, moving onto the original chicken sandwiches, both were missing the cheese I had paid for. I chose to call and ask for a resolution, which I luckily received, but the manager on duty was completely apathetic and did not off any apologies or resolutions, I had to ask for them; she actually didn't respond at all and just sat there quietly. The only redeeming part of this was going back for my resolution, but even then I could hear the employees in the back complaining about me. Hopefully they can make some improvements because I would like to still support this location and enjoy more BK...
