Grocery Outlet — Local services in Redmond

*FOLLOW UP 3/28/24 Like many throughout America, the overwhelming costs for groceries have changed my life. I have cut my meat intake by 75% as I can not afford to buy it too often. I also cook from scratch much more often & Grocery Outlet helps me save money. along with a wide assortment of goods, though often changing, Grocery Outlet has an incredibly friendly group of employees that have always been helpful. Grocery Outlet enables me to create a variety of dishes to satisfy my palate & doesn't break the bank.

Original post* I have never shopped at Grocery Outlet prior to this recent shopping trip. My review is based on that experience only.

☆So it seemed that a friend told me of a couple of really good deals on some various items, so I went to the Redmond, Oregon store to see if I could find such bargains. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at most of the prices, so impressed I spent significantly more that I had planned yet the savings & the amount of food along with other items was shocking. I must add that all of the meat, from Tri Tip Steaks to the pepper bacon was incredible when prepared, a friend who ate both of these items with me said it was the best bacon she recalled eating and she pointed out that the marinated Tri Tip was equally very delicious & of high quality. I would have given a 5 star rating, however I purchased Super glue only to find it completely dried up when I went to use it, then to compound my one issue I misplaced the item so it's a complete loss. Other than that, the shopping experience at Grocery Outlets was an incredible bang for the buck & I will continue shopping there & of course, I recommend others...

Wife and I went to the Grocery Outlet in Redmond, OR on Sat. I pulled into the parking lot with my full sized truck and parked. My wife went into the store and I waited with my child in the vehicle. When we went to leave, I backed out of my parking spot and hit a shopping cart that was left in the parking lot, in my blind spot, AFTER I parked. It was not there when I parked or I would have hit it when I parked.

We contacted the store manager and were told the owner would contact us on Monday. Monday came and we had to call again. The phone call was never returned. We called again and were told the owner was only in for a short time and we would have to call again on Tuesday. My wife called on Tuesday and finally spoke to the owner.

The owner said there was no way to prove the damage occurred in their parking lot and basically called us liars. They won't even consider assisting with the damages. We will no longer be giving them our business and I would others to do the same. If you aren't going to provide a place to put shopping carts in your parking lot, you should be willing to cover damages that occur because your patrons leave shopping carts all over the...

I have to say I definitely like this grocery outlet the variety is definitely outstanding and I will always shop here. They don't always have everything I'm looking for but that is not an issue because of the type of store that it is. There are a few employees I don't care for they have pretty bad attitudes I'm not going to say names they know who they are but that still doesn't change my experience much because of the variety. The next part of this review is a bit of a negative about the store the signs that they have posted on most items give you the price of elsewhere versus the price in the store. I'm sorry but I'm going to have to challenge the store on these signs I have not seen one that was in line on price and I am willing to prove it to the store itself if they want to contact me the elsewhere prices are so far completely wrong and not even close to what the item sells for elsewhere I can give grocery outlet a complete list of the same type item at Safeway Fred Meyers or any big grocery chain and they are not even close to the price that you list as elsewhere other than that I...
