Today is 05/06/2025 4:15pm I arrived to this location for my first time to try some empanadas. The Cashier was a young girl and there was also a guy sitting behind her in the kitchen which turns out to be her boyfriend” during my order her starred me down the whole time without even smiling even after I greeted him and did a small smile to make the experience not so awkward but he stared me down so hard I almost wanted to ask for my refund after ordering because he made me feel creeped out watching my interaction with his girlfriend as an insecurity as if I wanted her or was flirting or something in that nature which was not the fact. I still after paying almost wanted to ask for mg refund because the experience was unpleasant and the empanadas was not even near what I expected vs a Jamaican or Belizean spot this is just dough and tomato’s soup like insides....
Read moreDelicious. I asked for recommendations and the lady at the counter told me that the ancho chicken and the birria were the most popular. As I soon discovered, that's for a good reason! Both were so juicy and flavorful, as were the sauces that came with it.
I also got the Mexican chocolate empanada for dessert, and while it was very good and you could tell that they used high quality chocolate, I didn't get enough of the Mexican flavors.

Read moreWhat a wonder this place is. nothing beats A good empeñada and you can tell it's good by the small space the resturuant is in and the narrow menu which means they know what they're doing. I love the simple design of the place and the logo! It's very inviting and I can see why this place has good ratings and even better food! Not to mention the cute imprint of their brand on the food and deserts. It's cozy, nostalgic, and very comforting to eat these on a cold day. I won't forget this place and will be coming back...
