2 Amigos Taqueria — Restaurant in Reedsburg

This is a nice, small, cute little restaurant. There are red and white checkered table cloths and it is painted in cheerful bright colors. I ordered the Steak Fajita Quessadilla and my boyfriend got the steak Burrito. Both lunches came with rice and beans.. We also got jarritos sodas in glass bottles. We ate chips and salsa while we waited. When the food came it looked amazing! The Burrito was huge! We wound up switching lunches because my boyfriend did not like the cilantro or avocado in the Burrito, but I did, so I was okay with switching! Both meals tasted great!! We were very happy! The restaurant staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly as well! The prices were about average. Amazing!!! We are in town from Erie, PA and decided to stop for dinner. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were huge. My husband and I each got a taco and we split the nachos. I got the pastor with onions and cilantro it came with grilled pineapple on it and was one of the best tacos I have ever had! We barely made a dent in our nachos and brought them back to our hotel room to munch on while watching shark week. My mother got the fajita quesadillas and made two whole meals out of it. My daughter got a cheese quesadillas with double rice. She can be weird about food as she is autistic but she ate most of it and said it was delicious!!! This was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m from Chicago so we have a lot of really good Mexican food. The guacamole had no lime, no salt, and no cilantro very tasteless. The steak also had no salt, no seasoning. It was very tough and tasteless. I ordered flan and I could barely cut it with a fork it was so dense. Flan is supposed to be very light and creamy, I’ve never seen anything like that in my life. Whoever is the cook needs to get a cookbook and go to cooking school. The two sauces that were given, the one that’s supposed to be the tomatillos tasted like celery juice. And the other one was so hot you couldn’t even taste the flavor.
