Its called Oregon Coast Pizzaria not Bedrocks, but sure has some DARN GREAT PIZZA! Derrick was super kind, very informative & enormously helpful. We Googled where to eat Pizza & watch the Seahawks game in Reedsport yesterday & Oregon Coast Pizzaria & Restaurant showed up in my search. The place is huge! One side is the Restaurant & one side is the Pizzaria. We had a medium Ray's Combo & not only was it made quickly, but it was loaded with toppings. The crust was thin & crispy, just like a hand stretched artisan pizza is, back home in Eugene. The flavors were spectacular & when I asked Derrick for some Garlic powder, he graciously gave me some in a tiny cup. I like Garlic powder on my Pizza, along with Parmesan & Red Chili Flakes. My dining partner had a one time through Salad Bar, which he said was terrific & had a lot of choices. There were many big screen tv's in the dining area in the back, there is an Oregon Lottery Machine gambling room also. We didn't realize that there was an additional entire other half attached, which is the huge Restaurant, until we were leaving, because we were totally Pizza fixated when we arrived. Derrick told me their Chicken is TRULY Broasted, not just deep fried & he showed me the Broaster! I LOVE Broasted chicken! Now I want to go back & have Broasted Chicken, Mojo's & a slice of Cheesecake! I wish we could go back for Breakfast too, but since we are camping up at Loon Lake Lodge Resort & Marina, I don't know if we'll have the opportunity to go back this trip. However, I am super eager to try the Restaurant side, purely based on the deliciousness of the Pizza & the niceness of Derrick. I hope this place stays in business forever, so I can drive over from Eugene & try more great dishes! Please check out the photos, you can tell a lot about the creativity & diversity of food choices at a restaurant, just by the photos! Counting the days until I get to return! ♡ Thank you Derrick, you ROCK ♡ I should have taken your picture though, your genuine smile would bring in...
Read moreMe and a group of people went to this pizza place. Walking into the restaurant it was clean, inviting and smelt good. The pizza came very quickly. I didn't notice the not so pleasing taste of the pizza until I chewed a piece for about 10 seconds. I also didn't notice that it looked like all they did was put a four cheese blend of store bought shredded cheese on dough and put it in an oven, another thing I didn't notice but I did when somebody else took a piece of pizza is the pizza had a large amount of grease so much that it dripped from the pizza when you pick it up. After eating the pizza my stomach hurt, I went to the bathroom and it was a pleasant smell almost like it was sprayed with febreeze. I get into the stall and see that the floor has stains on most parts of the floor and what looked like dead bugs, I don't know when they clean their bathrooms but it looked like they hadn't cleaned it in a while. The toilet was surprisingly clean considering how dirty the floor was, after using the restroom I come out and some other kids were in there. I'm washing my hands while the other kid is waiting for the urinal to open, the kid that was already at the urinal flushes the urinal then starts coughing, plugging his nose saying that he flushed the urinal and it released a horrible smell. I go to the urinal and put my nose close to it and as he said, it smelt horrible, almost like somebody pooped in it and the poop sat there and got old until somebody finally cleaned it. All three of us had to leave the bathroom because of the smell. That was just the boys bathroom, one of the girls in our group told me that there was a used pad sitting on the floor. I didn't want to give this place a bad review, because as I said it was inviting and clean outside of the bathrooms but when I got to the bathrooms and saw the pizza, it started to become a bad experience. The customer service...
Read moreJust ordered 90$ in pizza for our daughters birthday. Ordered a pepperoni, a cheese and a combo the girl asked my husband which combo we have two he said well which is better the girl said I like the bedrocks combo he said ok
(obviously if there was some wacky topping a normal person would think that would be disclosed yeah?)
40 mins later delivery comes the combo has shrimp and pineapple?! Ok weird why wouldn't that be disclosed that's not a standard pizza topping.. kids won't touch it so husband calls he's in no way upset he just says hey I called and ordered a combo the girl bites his head off he says well no one said it had shrimp and pineapple I guess I just expected it to be disclosed as it's not a standard topping... The girl says here talk to my manager the manager has no customer service is extremely snotty to my husband "well what do you expect when you don't ask" which ok sure I get that but don't you think it's like common curtosy to tell a customer when there are some off the wall toppings?
My family owns a local reasturant and not only would none of us ever have treated a customer like that with such rudeness but we probably would have just remade the meal and tried to make the customer happy. Instead we had to reorder and pay for a new pizza since we had no other pizza option in town. We had not touched the pizza and were totally willing to let the driver take it back in exchange for a proper combo.
I'm aware that my husband could have asked but I feel like why the heck didn't they disclose the odd toppings? And when my husband approached them with kindness and confusion why was he met with rudeness and hostility and sarcasm and basically told you are SOL eat it or...
