You pay $15 extra cleaning fee at check in for your dog, and you think, not bad. But then they charge your card a $75 penalty after you leave if they find a pet hair. He also tells you to keep your dog off the bed, so they expect you to remain awake all night and watch the bed, or kennel them inside I suppose, only if it's a small kennel though, as there's nothing for floor space. I left my room extremely clean. He acted as if I was to vacuum and launder before I left. Outrageous. The rooms are very outdated and have an old, rank smell. Clearly they give people with a dog their crappiest rooms to begin with. The bedding was that of a drape that belonged on a curtain rod hanging in the window and not an actual blanket. I wished i had brought my own the entire time. The bed takes up the entirety of the room since they have a table and armoir crammed In there too, and there's simply nowhere for a dog to even be, hardly anywhere for your own feet. So their expectations are unrealistic and they shouldn't offer pet friendly accommodations. Apparently he does so he can just overcharge. Nice little scam. He claims he had to throw bedding away because he found a dog hair in the room, totally exaggerated and the hotel is so cheap in makeup and amenities(theres zero), you know he absolutely didn't. I paid his asked cleaning fee for in addition to that also being bundled into the nightly rate. A simple vacuum was required and laundry done like normal, and the room was perfect for a quick clean up and refresh when I left it. I'll bet they spent half an hour refreshing for a new guest after me. He shouldn't be trusted with debit cards and isn't honest. When I went in there to ask after the charge and confronted him to get the fraudulent charge removed, he became extremely angry and ordered me off the property. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. I'll be disputing and having the bank deal with him...
Read moreThe first thing I noticed in this Motel was the toilet. I don't need to describe in detail what it was I saw underneath the seat, but let's just say it was more than bodily fluids. There was hair in the shower, before we even got in the shower. No air conditioning. We tried to get a cross Breeze flowing between the bathroom and the front window, but there was no screen on the bathroom window, so we didn't want to leave it open inviting flying things or anyone else coming in. Sounds like a Beatles song... There was a light switch in the shower. REALLY??!!!!!! The towels we were given were bathmats, I do not exaggerate that part at all. The swimming pool, as they call it, is somewhat triangular-shaped about 3 feet wide at the narrow end and about 6 feet on the wide end. And about 15 ft in length. So, if any other locally-owned mom-and-pop motels want to get more business, perhaps you should make yourself a little more available on the internet, that's the way we found this quaintly furnished Motel. Oh, and...
Read moreHorrible place. Only stayed here one night due to it being the only place available. Paid way too much at $185 should have been $50. Signs all over saying quiet time but definitely not enforced, windows are so poor that they don’t stop any of the road noise. We ended up in a room next to a smoking table under the stairs and were kept up til 1:30 am with people drinking and talking loudly. No AC. Pool is filled in. No breakfast. Bed was ok, not the worst I’ve slept on. ||||Parking lot is too small, not nearly enough room, we had to park out behind the building in a dirt lot with no lighting. ||||Would rather sleep in the car and at least have a door that won’t open without a key. We unfortunately didn’t figure this out until we were loading our stuff up in the car. Told the manager at checkout and he didn’t seem to care or even want to see it happen(I can only assume he already knew as it was the last room he had available and he didn’t ask any questions when i told him about it)||||Would not go back...
