I finally made it to egg to find out if it lived up to all the hype. I'm not a morning person, so dine-out breakfast is not in my typical vocabulary. Parking in that area is sparse, so we opted to park on Canal Street, which is the first right when you cross the drawbridge when entering Rehoboth from Route 1. Upon entering Egg, we were greeted with smiles and promptly seated at a two-top. In the off-season, they don't have much outside seating, so if you have a large party, make sure you call ahead for options. I had the Crab Avacado toast and the side of Biscuits and Gravy. The Avacado Toast was listed as Market Price on the menu, which is always annoying to have to ask (it was $16 for one toast). But after receiving it, I understand why- the toast is completely covered in lump crab! The dish itself, though, was actually pretty bland. I added salt, pepper, and hot sauce (which I hate to do on crab because it dampens the sublime flavor of the meat). There was a dollop of pico de gallo on the side, which helped to add some flavor, but it wasn't enough. If I ordered this again, I would get a slightly runny fried egg on top and extra pico de gallo. I was not a huge fan of the side order of biscuits and gravy either. The dish had a sweet profile and the biscuit itself was very dense, almost hard. The gravy was loaded with sausage but even hot sauce couldn't save this dish. Their bacon was excellent- a side comes with three pieces of thick cut glazed bacon. Overall, I was less than enthusiastic about the food, which I rated a 3. Overall, the place is clean, nicely decorated, and the staff was excellent. I will definitely return to try some other menu options in the...

Our brunch experience at Egg in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware was simply delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. We had high expectations for our meal, and Eggs certainly did not disappoint.

To start off, we couldn't resist trying the mimosas. The freshness of the grapefruit and orange juice added a vibrant and refreshing touch to our brunch. It set the tone for what was to come – a truly enjoyable culinary journey.

Next, we decided to share the siracha bacon. The combination of tangy sweetness was unexpected but absolutely delicious. It was a unique twist on traditional bacon that left us wanting more.

For our main courses, we ordered a variety of dishes. The chocolate chip pancakes were a decadent treat, with the perfect balance of fluffy pancakes and rich chocolate chips. They were a true indulgence.

The East Shore Benedict was a highlight of our meal. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with a velvety yolk that oozed over the crispy English muffin and savory ham. It was a classic dish executed flawlessly.

We also couldn't resist trying the biscuits and gravy, accompanied by a side of turkey sausage. The turkey sausage was a revelation – bursting with flavor and incredibly juicy. The chunks of sausage in the gravy added a delightful surprise to each bite. It was a hearty and satisfying dish that left us completely satisfied.

Overall, our brunch experience at Eggs was exceptional. The friendly atmosphere, attentive service, and outstanding food made it a memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Eggs is a must-visit for a delicious and...

My family and I came here for a brunch and the food was great. Everything we ordered was delicious except the stuffed PB&J French Toast. It was okay, just expected something different.

Our drinks were nice as well. The Lavender French 75 and their seasonal snowman drink were great. The Bloody Mary had way too much pepper. I was literally spitting out pepper ground every time I took a sip. But the other cocktails were enjoyable.

Our server was amazing. Fast, friendly and very accommodating. The reason for the 1 star is the lady who wore a red sweater this morning was so rude and it left a bad taste in our mouth after an amazing meal. She came up to our table 4 times to rush us out of there as soon as we were done eating. We were still enjoying our drinks and chatting and since we drove an hour to go there, we needed to use the restroom before we left. When 2 people from our table of four went to the bathroom, this lady came over to our table AGAIN and asked us to leave and wait outside. It was super off putting and rude. How quickly she ruined the entire experience for all of us. She said there was a looong wait and when we left, there was only 1 family outside waiting while there was other empty tables in the dining room.

We will not be back and I do not recommend spending your money here. There are other establishments that will give you a great experience from...

On MLK Day Monday 2022, my wife, four-year-old daughter and I went to Egg thanks to a good rating on Yelp. We went around 10 a.m. and were seated right away. (When we left around 11 a.m., there was a long line to get in!) Here's our experience: 1) Food: The menu is large and diverse (including a dish with quail eggs). I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper (with scrambled eggs, cheese and chorizo). My daughter had the pancakes and my wife Eggs Benedict. None of it stood out as out of this world, but it was decent basic breakfast. However, the siracha candy bacon was unique and GREAT! 2) Service: It was hit or miss. Our server was not friendly at all. In fact, my wife and I wondered if we had unknowingly offended her by wearing masks or something else. She ignored our table, responded extra slowly when our daughter accidentally spilled her orange juice, brought us a wrong order and responded to our four-year-old's comments with coldness. However, the other staff were super friendly! Our four-year-old daughter talked to a few other staff who got down to her level and had a full conversation with her. So nice! 3) Space: It's inside an old market and very cozy with booth, table and bar seating. Murals of roosters and photographs of the old market hang on the walls. There's a small outdoor patio with heaters, but for some reason it was closed when we went.
