I would’ve given this review for this Northtown Del taco and a minus -10 stars but for the sake of the review I had to give a minimum of one to write a review this is by far the worst Del taco this is the second time I’ve had an incident here the first time the same cashier or I should say shift manager that help me was quite rude the last time I went through the drive-through this time I came up with my children and we waited there for about four minutes until we got out I stood at the counter she kept going back-and-forth from the register at the front counter to the drive through the third time she came back to the register She told me you’re going to have to wait no customer service skills whatsoever I know I’m sorry I’ll be right with you no excuse me I’ll be right back nothing this person is a manager and they have no customer service skills whatsoever I did not get a receipt I did not get my number so I waited about 12 or 13 minutes for my food I finally went to the counter after they called the number up three or four times and I asked what was in the bag in the shift manager Logan had no idea I said where is my receipt she just gave me a blank stare and did a re-print because I get reimbursed for this purchase. When I got the food I noticed there was a taco or two missing and nobody offered to give me any kind of condiments or ask if I wanted any napkins there is no napkins or condiments usually by default any fast food restaurant will automatically at least put napkins in the service was so bad here the food was subpar Nelly remember why it’s been six months since I’ve been to this specific or Townville tac when I got the food I noticed there was a taco or two missing and nobody offered to give me any kind of condiments or ask if I wanted any napkins there was no napkins or condiments usually by default any fast food restaurant will automatically at least put napkins in the service was so bad here the food was subpar Nelly remember why it’s been six months since I’ve been to this specific Northtowne Del taco If any of you who love Mexican food like I too want good service and great food great prices go to Roberto’s tacos on S. Read moreReally happy there is a del taco so close to my house. Too bad the children staffing the place are some of the worst when it comes to customer service. The girl that took my order was nice and seemed to be hustling but the rest of the staff you could tell they did not want to be there. It took them 27 minutes to make my 2 del soft tacos and during that 27 minutes I watched the girl that was bagging the food serve every single car in the drive thru and all of the customers in the restaurant and I was there before all of them. She was paying more attention to her 3 inch finger nails (gross by the way considering she can't wear gloves with those nails but is handling every order in the restaurant) then she was to what was happening in the restaurant. I seriously hope she isn't the shift supervisor because if she is good luck getting your food at night. I had to go back up to the counter to ask her if they were making my order and she turned to the cooks and asked them to make 2 soft tacos both of them told her no and continued to make 3 more orders before finally slapping together my food as slowly as possible with ridiculous attitude like I was bothering them. The first cook the taller one with the glasses was throwing each and every tortilla down on the cutting board like he would rather be anywhere other then that line and at one point I'm positive he put one of them over his shoulder so he could rearrange something with both hands!! Just put it right on his sweaty t-shirt and then threw it down and used it to make some ones food. Every single employee in that restaurant moves as slowly as they can. It was like some ridiculous contest to see who could prove they didn't care. I have managed restaurants for 15 years from collage sports bars to fine dining front and back of the house and if I ever had a cook take 30 minutes to make something that was scooped from steam tables or tell me he wasn't going to make a customers order IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER I would personally toss him out the door. I could run that place by myself and do a better job. 30 MINUTES FOR TWO TACOS!! NOT TO MENTION THE DISRESPECTFUL ATTITUDE!! This is what you get for being a...
Read moreIf it was possible to give zero stars for this location I would. I tried to visit during the lunch hours on a weekday. Their drive-thru was operating, however I needed to go inside and sit down and enjoy lunch in the air conditioning as it was about 95 degrees and Smokey outside. I also needed to use the facilities and wash my hands before eating with them. There was no closed dining room sign, nothing explaining why the doors were just locked. Other people were inside the dining room eating their lunches. I tried knocking but no one would come to the door. I waited for about 10 minutes until one of the diners finished his lunch and was going to exit but he needed to be escorted out by one of the employees. I asked her (the employee) why they were closed and she had no explanation. I asked her for the regional managers name and she said there was no such person and no phone number available. She told me I could just look the store up on Google and get the store phone number and talk to the on-duty manager. I think these fast food restaurants are alienating a lot of customers at their whim. People such as myself are going to be unlikely to return to these stores even when things have gotten back to normal because of the manner in which we are being treated. They need us, we don't need them. The Del Taco branch over at Sparks Galleria is on my "do not visit" list because their restrooms have constantly been un- serviced without towels or soap so that patrons / customers can properly wash their hands before eating with them. I asked one of the counter Clerks on one of these occasions if there was an employee restroom and she told me NO, that the employees used the public restrooms, imagine that no soap and no towels for the employees to wash their hands properly. Won't be visiting this Del Taco store again for a...
