It started out as a bit of a disaster. My parents and I arrived just before the dinner rush. We made our order, and then a party of 13 showed up, quickly followed by a couple parties of four or so. We sat for nearly an hour while each of these later arriving pairs were served their meals. We got our appetizers- five mussels, instead of six, and they were dry and tough. As I grew more and more frustrated, a woman dropped off 3 complimentary bowls of miso soup - and an apology for the delay. Another half hour later, my parents received their sushi - which fell apart quite often, but all the of us ended up laughing about it, as it reminded us of making our own sushi at home, and the trouble we had with wrapping. Two more complimentary appetizers appeared on front of me, and a heartfelt apology for the delay in my bowl of jjamppong - a spicy Korean-Chinese seafood noodle soup. The appetizers were very tasty, and I was grateful for them - as I had been too busy to eat all day, and I was starving. My soup finally arrived nearly an hour after ordering. It was gorgeous, and the best soup ever... for all 3 bites I managed. I have the rest in my fridge, and I'll take it to work today... but I think I'll try to find a recipe and make it myself next time. They did take a percentage of our order, which was nice of them.

So this place is really good....they have quite the menu, and the girls there helped me look through it because I had no idea how to bring it up with the scan code.....I don't usually have to do that so I'm confused when I do. The whole menu is online and they have pieces of paper with their sushi menu so you can order off the paper too for that. They had a lot of good things to try, I ordered takoyaki (not pictured because I ate it too fast, it was too good to wait) and ramen(pictured here). The girls who waited on me were super fast and friendly, the place was very busy but they still took time to visit me several times and ask if I was doing alright. They had an all you can eat special but I wasn't particularly interested in that this time. The food was good, the pork was just a little burnt but i still enjoyed the rest of the ramen. The tea was good too, just a typical mealtime tea to go with the meal. I would recommend this place for anyone who is a fan of all kinds of japanese food.

**Edit 3/3/2020** Sad to report they have renovated and changed the menu. But not necessarily for the better. They no longer serve all you can eat, they have "combo plates" for the same price as all you can eat and you only get 2 long rolls. Their menu doesn't have a lot of the rolls I liked anymore and their sushi isn't nearly up to par of what it used to be. I got a crunch roll and the tempura shrimp were hard. It was disappointing. My favorite place is no longer my favorite and I probably will not return. 😞 *** 2018 ***My new favorite sushi place in town. They have a great price and a larger variety of roles. Service is 50/50 to be honest. The employees are friendly, but food and service is slower then most places.

We have been coming here for 10 years now. It was to the point that the servers and chefs knew us by name. We used to come twice a month or so and never once had a bad experience. Great food, awesome service with a smile, always wonderful! However, today (7-23-25) we were wildly disappointed. The hostess/server was one of the most awkward people we have ever met. She made us very uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. She asked how many, we said 2, and then stared at us for 30 seconds as if waiting for another answer. We waited over 30 min for food with only 3 other tables seated in the restaurant. The other tables already had food. The server also gave us dirty glasses, wiped her nose with her hand several times and did NOT wash her hands, never checked on our table, and dumped a tray of plates and cups while trying to bus a table and never cleaned up her mess. Just grabbed the toppled dishes and left the water and mess. Luckily, the other server came to check on us and eventually brought us our check so we could pay.

The plating of the rolls was sloppy, they didn’t look right, and the server didn’t even know what they were when they hit the table. They looked nothing like what we have seen in the many times we have been there.

Whatever the owners are doing to lose amazing servers and wonderful chefs, needs to change. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel with the new people and they are going to lose business because of it. I hope they get their act together soon. Very...

Went to this location twice. First was good food but mediocre service. Second was last night, arrived at 7:50pm. We placed our appetizer order and got our waters in decent time. Only 2/3 of the appetizers came out, nbd. We turn in our order ticket (ordering for 2 at a table) it took 25 minutes to get food and it was only half of what we ordered. At that time the waitress goes to every table, except ours, and says 'it is last call'. We sat around for another 25 minutes waiting for the other half of our first order. Nothing came, they come and ask us how we are doing and so we tell them that we did not receive out appetizers, we didn't receive our order and not having a good time. She says she will go check on it. Then the other waitress brings us a check... So I pay the check and am so mad at this point we are walking out and they then bring the remaining order. We left in frustration, I was charged $60 for 4 rolls, I paid for all you can eat and didn't even get AYCE, we were not offered any kind of recourse for the poor service, not offered desert. NOTHING! I don't think a manager was even working that shift, everyone was moving at half speed and the guys in the back were popping out of the kitchen and laughing at patrons. They reminded me of the stoners from the movie 'waiting'. The waitress couldn't keep track of her orders and went table to table asking if they ordered this food. Poor establishment. It's a shame because this is the closest place to me and we are...

My husband and I have visited this place 4xs now. The 1st time we went for dinner, sat at the bar and it was great. Food was fresh, manager was super friendly, service was on point. Thought it was going to be our new favorite sushi joint.

The 2nd and 3rd times were average (once for dinner at the bar and once for lunch at a table). Food was decent, service was a little lacking.

Today we went and it was a late lunch and sat at a table. So maybe we can chalk some of the complaints up to the time of day and not eating at the bar. However, the food itself was lacking. Our favorite roll here is the baby lobster which comes with some yummy sauteed veggies (onions, green peppers, mushrooms and crawfish). This time it was not only completely overcooked, with some parts burned but there were absolutely no mushrooms in the mix. Mind you we ordered 2. The crawfish was so overcooked, it was inedible and the scallops on the dynamite roll (which has a very similar topping) were super chewy and even crunchy on some pieces🤨. On top of that, we were never given a 2nd order form if we wanted more and our server came to our table maybe 3 times. There were a total of 7 people in the place including us. My husband started to walk our order sheet to the chef himself when he signaled to our server. There were times when there wasn't even a chef at the bar. 🤦

It was pretty bad and it will be a long time, if we...
