At Manhattan Deli, we experienced very poor service. I ordered an egg sandwich on white toasted bread, but it was served cold and untoasted. It was returned to the kitchen, and we waited another 5–10 minutes before receiving it again — this time on sourdough, not what I ordered. • We waited over 45 minutes to receive our food, which included just a sandwich and a pizza. • During this time, our server walked past our table at least 8 times, yet never stopped to ask if we needed anything or how our food was. She was within arm’s reach while serving the table across from us but did not acknowledge us until much later. When she finally came over, I informed her the food was unsatisfactory and requested the check.

What concerned me most was that during our phone call, the marketing representative asked me to remove my honest Google review. I made it clear that I would not take it down. My review accurately reflects our experience at your property. Whether the review is positive or negative, I believe in leaving truthful feedback — and I do not appreciate being pressured to remove it.

I am requesting a professional response and reassurance that: Your staff, including cocktail servers and restaurant personnel, will receive proper customer service training. Guests will not be pressured to remove reviews when they share honest feedback about...

Liked the food at Cafe Alfresco before they transferred the menu over to the deli. Now the food is subpar.

  1. Caesar salad - there were quite a few pieces that were very bitter and the entire salad was very under-dressed. This was not an issue at cafe alfresco

2). The garlic cheese bread - the cheese was not fully melted, and the bread was hard

  1. Pizza - we ordered the vegetarian pizza (don’t remember the exact name) and it was EXTREMELY salty. I also asked for for extra sauce and well done. There was no sauce on it (but that could just be because it was New York style). I couldn’t eat the Pizza. To their credit they remade the pizza, and it was much better, but the veggies were not cooked (but again that could just be the style).

The server never apologized once, and was kind of ‘not all there’ during the entire dining experience

I am an emerald member and have eaten at the Atlantis multiple times before (first time at manhattan deli). They closed cafe alfresco and moved the menu to Manhattan deli so they they open a new restaurant at the previous location.

Hope this was a one-off experience. But the quality of the food is not the same, neither is the service. On the plus side, my daughter...

I had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had at your establishment. A broken drinking glass was served to my mother, which is a serious safety concern. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, nobody was attentive or responsive. It took my husband physically walking to the kitchen to ask for help, and even then, it was 30 minutes before a manager finally came to our table.

While the first manager we spoke to was accommodating, she passed us off to another manager who was completely ineffective and clearly not suited for his role. At no point did anyone show genuine concern for the fact that a guest had been served a broken glass—something that could have resulted in injury. There was no urgency, no accountability, and absolutely no professionalism in how the situation was handled.

This level of negligence is unacceptable. I will never dine here again, and I will actively discourage others from doing so as well. Safety should be a priority, not an...

We were staying at the Atlantis Resort and just wanted to park our car and forget about it. So we did all of our eating and drinking on site. We went to the Manhattan Deli our first night. This was great food, huge portions for a great price. We sat in the sports bar and ordered from their menu. Our food came out quickly and hot. All of the flavors were on point. We ordered two of the Knish's because we thought that they would be much smaller, we were wrong. So glad to be wrong about that, the extra food sure didn't go to waste. We had a couple different servers and both were great. They were very attentive and made sure we had drinks at all times. Even if we don't stay at the Atlantis Resort again, I'm sure we will be back for the food here at the Manhattan Deli. Want to see more place, things, and food? The closest to a New York Jewish deli you’ll find anywhere in the region. Excellent prices for a cup of matzo ball soup and potato knish. The matzo ball was ENORMOUS. However, the soup broth had an intensely strong chicken broth smell and taste. The potato knish was just as good, if not better than, decades-old Jewish delis in NYC. If you are a fan of extra thin and crispy - rather than large and fluffy - latkes, you’ll appreciate the three latkes with apple sauce for about $8. Jacob B. was an excellent, attentive, and friendly waiter. They even have black and white cookies available to order; what a huge shame they don’t have chocolate cigars (nor do they have employees who know what those are!)

Wonderful place for a meal! This blow us as we did not expect that we can have really good food in a casino eatery. We ordered a few dishes and None of them is a miss. The waffle fries of sweet potatoes are a hit: so crunchy and perfectly fried. The chicken noodle soup are flavorful. The apple pie is good. The power mix salad is so rich with different ingredients. The double decker with beef tongue and corned beef are super good — less salty than the NYC local ones but really crate to my palate. The only issue is the waiting time for food is a bit of long. But the waitress is kind and polite. Pretty nice. Definitely will come back again! Why stand in the line for hours for the buffet ?
