No good!!. I ordered two burgers and one club sandwich to go. The burgers supposed to come with regular french fries but instead they gave me sweet potato fries (no good). The sandwich supposed come with a salad and regular french fries but it didn't have the salad and they gave me sweet potatoes fries as well (no good at all). When I placed the order on their website they sent me an email that my order will be ready to be pick up at 16:07 (I placed the order at 15:45), I arrived at the restaurant at 16:10 and waited 20 minutes more, in their lobby or whatever they want to call it that area, for them to handed me my food. With this covid-19 stuff going on is not place to sit down while you are waiting for your order, and it is not that much social distancing while waiting as well specially when they have around 10 people waiting on a 8'x8' space area, and is not place for you to double check your order before you leave the restaurant. Anyway when I got home I opened the bag and we start going through the food containers just to find out that the order wasn't complete. So I called the restaurant and after 5 minutes of waiting a girl answered so I tried to explained her why I was calling and she told me that she will transfer me to someone else but after couple minutes waiting on the line I got disconnected, so I called again and a girl (I don't know if she was the same person that answered me the first time) answered the phone, after 8 minutes of ringing, and I explained her why I was calling so she told me that she will transfer me to a manager to see how to solve this problem. After 7-8 minutes of waiting a dude answered the phone so I asked him for his name but he pretended that he didn't heard me so I asked him if he was the "manager" but he started talking with a narcissist and self-centered attitude so I tried to explain him what's going on and then he asked me for my phone number, he said that he wanted my number in case if we disconnected he will call me back, so I gave him the info that he asked for and after that he told me that he will put me on hold to see what was going on but after a minute I got disconnected. It has been two hours and ten minutes since I called and I spoke with the "manager" and I still waiting for him to call me back, I mean that's why he asked for my personal information.....right?!. Anyway I just wanted to say how disappointed I am with this whole thing because I PAID for a service but the service that I got is not what I was expecting and or deserve. Thanks.
P.S. I don't think I was the only one that had an issue with an order because I heard some people complaining about their orders and about for how long they were waiting for their order. There was some people waiting for their order when I got there, and when I left they were few of the same people still waiting for their...
Read moreSo, as an employee, I have to say whenever you order your employee meal for the day, you only get to choose from a staff menu something that they don’t tell you in the initial interview the items are very limited, and it takes over an hour to get your food when you’re an employee we should be treated with the same respect and courtesy as a customer For the two weeks I’ve been working here every time I ordered my food it’s always been a problem. The management is taking orders off the top of their head, like their servers and then forgetting to put the orders in instead of just giving the green tickets to the employees for them to turn in themselves, my boss wants me to talk to him when there’s a problem however, being how I ate your after my shift, I’m complaining as a customer they talk a good game about being family and all this other stuff but really Hispanic workers look down on you and it seems like if you’re a different race they discriminate against you while working here. I found out that one of the other employees was trying to get in their family member. I happen to take that position now I’m getting looked at bad all the time and people were supposed to be management or accusing me of quitting the day after, just because they saw how strong my work ethic was. I don’t plan on staying at this place forever. Already looking for a new job. This place is not acceptable for employment………update as of 9/10/2023 I quit this place sucks the general manager the EKM and everybody there needs to be fired and replaced by corporate. They are not in communication with each other. The EKM Manny is Agro off steroids has a completely bad attitude, no disrespect, disabled people but half the kitchen staff is disabled, walking around with knifes in their hand smiling it’s not OK I understand they’re people and they need jobs to but somebody should’ve brief them on kitchen safety completely understaffed in the dish area when I told Manny, I was having surgery he just kept shaking his head like no you need to get approval through me dude, you are absolutely nobody to me. You are the executive kitchen manager. You are not the general manager lay off the steroids dude the food is so scarce here for employees unless your management they eat in front of you knowing damn well you’re hungry there is no description of the employee menu. They say that you get to eat anything off of the menu they don’t tell you that there’s only a small employee menu and there’s select items on select days that you get to pick during the interview I was not offered food or cheesecake , as it says they do in interviews. This place is a total dump and should...
Read moreI was a Cheescake Factory Veteran over 12 years ago. When the team was required to wear all white with a crease on the pants, and the speel upon greeting your guests was an absolute must. So, I am familiar with the high standards the brand dominated the industry with back in the day. It used to be the reason why I would return for a bite from time to time. I thought I could always rely on the consistency of service, a fantastic menu, and amazing cocktails.
This was NOT the case at this location.
Brittany was our bartender. Although nice, she wasn't behind the bar for most of our experience. I am expertly positive that both the passion fruit mojito and strawberry martini were made incorrectly. I watched her pours, and her counts were under by at least an ounce. She did not use a jigger.
The avocado eggrolls have been a favorite of mine since 2008. The tamarind sauce is still delicious. However, the tip of the squeeze bottle, not so much. We sent it back, and received a new one facilitated by the barback. The manager came by to apologize.
The bartender showed up eventually but mentioned nothing about the foreign object in our food until she dropped the check. Seemingly saving face for the tip, one would surmise.
What happened to the 2 bite, 2 minute check back? The friendly banter and bar personality?
The atmosphere was quite dry and I don't recall hearing music. Menus could be cleaner and dessert station could be more appealing with appetizing displays.
What happened to the standards?
Granted this was lunch on Thursday, my fiance and I enjoyed our time together. Though we were hoping to make the Cheesecake Factory bar one of our regular date spots. I think we'll stick with the Roxy or even Chili's.
UPDATE The "owner" responded below to my original chapter book of a review. This person clearly did not comprehensively read my written words. This person also does not know that a veteran at the Cheesecake Factory meant that I was employed there ions ago. I was a trainer and closer. I was a bartender and worked in several locations across the East Coast. I did not have an aperol spritz, I had a strawberry blossom. Also, I clearly pointed out the fact that we spoke to a manager, in regard to the plastic tip of a squeeze bottle in our sauce. The avocado rolls were bland, yet nostalgic. Not sure where this person got their details but the response shows that they simply do not care about my singular experience. I write because I once took pride in this place, especially as a former employee. It's sad to see dwindle and lack luster.
Case and point. We WON'T be...
