Had a party for 7 people so I decided to go with the following items: -**SPECIAL Nayaab item Tabak Maaz (slow cooked lamb ribs) 2 plates. They come in 8 pieces per plate with a generous serving of Kashmiri rice. The rice was good but the ribs were DISGUSTING! Please see attached picture. This item needs to be ordered 48 hours in advance, which I did hence, the amplified disappointment. The ribs had more fat on them than actual meat. I would assume when a good kitchen gets meat with fat, it would cut most of it off before marinating and cooking. This was embarrassing to serve to my guests. Price point for this was ok for the portion size but terrible ribs in quality and bland taste! Not what I would expect for ordering 48 hrs in advance. PLEASE get this off your menu if you continue to make it like this! -Tandoori Chicken whole: 1 plate comes with 7 pieces. This was a good dish as it was not the generic red colored style of Tandoori that you would see in majority Indian restaurants. I would order this again. Loved the green chutney that comes with it. Lamb seekh Kabab: 1 plate comes with 6 pieces, i was expecting 8 pieces since it was mentioned to me when I ordered that 1 plate would be sufficient for 7 people. The taste was good and I would order this again. Green chutney with this again was great -Fish Pakora: 1 plate comes with 8 pieces. This was very good and I will order this again for sure! Very good appetizer option! Malai Kofta (veg): 2 plates came with 8 koftas in a tomato base gravy. This was tasty and went well with the Kashmiri Rice or Naans Butter Naan: very good and would order again. Tandoori Roti: very good and would order again
Overall: I would order food from here again, just will stick to the basics...
Read moreI'm not sure how this place has such rave reviews. I finally tasted the cuisine after months of reading about it and was seriously disappointed. I had the gold combo, with the butter chicken and the tikka chicken masala. The butter chicken was okay, with an average flavor but a little too sweet to be authentic, and the chicken chunks were atrociously huge, bone-dry white meat. The chicken tikka masala was even worse; the sauce contained bell peppers and onions, which is not typical of tikka masala, but rather of kadhai chicken. The chicken was similarly dry, and the sauce was even 'sweeter' than bottled spaghetti sauce. To top it off, the portions were minimal for the price this establishment charges. The two small miniscule entree portions (in relation to what is charged for it - nearly $20) come with no drink, appetizer, or anything else, except some dry flavorless rice (saffron indeed!) and two small, burnt triangles of naan, not even one whole naan cut into four, as is the norm at any Indian buffet take-out, and moreover, they were extremely chewy and rubbery. Overall, an atrocious dining experience! Maybe the food has recently gone down due to declining business or an inferior batch? But, frankly, I don't think that's an excuse either. Easily one of the worst Indian food...
Read moreOverall: B- Layout & decor: ⭐️⭐️ Food quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Timeliness: ⭐️⭐️ Review: The food was really good, but they seem much more geared for takeout & not getting a meal there. I realize they’re located in a food court. Took just over 24 minutes to get our food & it was just 2 of us. The naan was great tho. Seems like they’re a new establishment & getting their feet under them. They only have cocktail napkins, they need to fix the at. Get real napkins. Hope these guys get their turnaround time figured out because this is great food but people aren’t going to wait almost half an hour in a food court for a meal. They seem to have some things prepared in advance but obviously not our entrees which we chose. I wish them the best, I do, but gottta get those dishes...
