Room 94 Taps & Bourbon — Restaurant in Resort Township

So, it's middle of the mark. We thought we would try it out one night. It was a bit later in the evening, around 9pm and they were open until 11. We asked the hostess if we could get food while playing in the game area. She said absolutely, she would have someone over shortly. Mind you, the place was empty. A couple of tables in the main area and a few people in the gaming area. We sat at a table & looked at the menus and waited to be greeted... and waited... and waited... and waited. No one ever came. All of the staff had congregated at the bar area, directly behind us, including the hostess that seated us. We kept looking around, waiting for any kind of acknowledgement. None ever came. We left & ended up going to Wendy's drive-thru on the way back to our hotel.

We were at the casino 2 nights later, but earlier in the evening. Decided to try one more time. It was a little busier but by that, I mean a handful of tables. We were greeted & seated right away. A waitress arrived shortly thereafter & took our drink order & even offered suggestions. She was very nice. Came back with drinks & then took our food order. We got one burger & one mac & cheese with brisket. They arrived a short time later. Burger looked good. Mac & cheese looked questionable. Not quite what I had in mind when I thought of mac & cheese. This actually wasn't cheesy at all. It was some kind of sauce, and I wouldn't call it cheese, but it was greasy not not great tasting. We notified the waitress & swapped out for a different menu item. Burgers are good. They have a nice flavor to them. I'd skip on the mac & cheese anything at the moment.

So, first try not so great. 2nd try much better. You be the judge...

We have wanted to like the new restaurant and have gone back several times since they opened to give them another shot. We frequent the casino. My guess is we have been to this restaurant 8 times since opening and only 1 time was it a good experience. The menu has changed extensively. It is much more scaled down now than when they opened. The food is subpar. My husband ordered the fish basket for dinner, it came out and was browned batter with oil soaked fish particles. Mushy. Disgusting. He spoke to the waitress and said he was not going to be able to eat it, her comment was "Well, I have not had any other complaints". A comment was left for the GM. Another visit, we tried the pizza. When it arrived the dough was slapped on the board and ingredients thrown at it like darts. It looked pathetic and completely unappealing. Last visit, we ordered an appetizer, garlic cheese bread. It came out burned. I dont mean a little burned, seared. Under the very browned cheese, it was like a black hockey puck. Just gross! I tasted burned bread for the rest of the evening and kicked myself for even trying it. Again, we let the waitress know, she shrugged, seemed irritated and said she would take it back. Odawa has been going through a lot of changes. Lets hope this next round of management gets it right. I hope the café and a buffet come back! It...

I don’t really ever write reviews. But this place has been extremely disappointing. I have gone twice and each time was equally bad. First time I went I ordered a pepsi and the CO2 was down, which isn’t the end of the world. My food was a burger which tasted very weird. At first I thought it was just flavors from the grill but the more bites I took the worse it got. I could not finish it. Server was nice and respectful. My buddy got fish tacos and they were par at best. Not trying to judge it off of one experience, I tried room 94 again hoping for an improvement. I ordered the brisket sandwich and we got a table mac n cheese. The brisket was so dry it was practically jerky. The sandwich was cold. Again I tried to order a soda and the co2 was down. The mac n cheese was so over cooked it was mush and the brisket pieces on it were pure fat chunks. My buddy ordered a pizza and it was raw so we sent it back and the second time was worse. Raw and cold in the middle. Would not recommend this place. My coworkers talked about their experiences here and had nothing positive to say. Bad food. Its unfortunate for how long that...
